Chris, I think your right, the Escape would be the closest to get a feel for the 2.5L hybrid engine. I would think the Bronco Sport w/ the 2.0L EcoBoost would give one the best feel for that engine. But, finding a Bronco Sport on a dealers lot is quite difficult. Those things don't sit on a lot...
Phil, I can vouch for Albert, and Granger. They started with us on the Bronco forum early on, and have been nothing but straight up, and very helpful. Many on the Bronco forum have ordered through them, myself included. For example, my res date is 10/04/20. My number in line is #774, and I have...
In my limited build/price experience with the Maverick it looks like all trims have no style bed liner unless you order one. But, with my extended experience with the Bronco B/P page Ford wasn't spot on at the first, and changed/updated the page as they went along. So, one never knows at this...
I was going to same close to the same thing. I live near the Uhwarrie National Forrest. I feel my 2wd Ranger could do the easy trails there almost as good as my 4wd Wrangler. If the the roads/trails you will use are relatively smooth (meaning no extreme ruts/dip/holes with sharp decent/drive out...
Oh noooooo, I've ordered my Bronco with Albert, and his gang. Since we have to wait longer for our Bronco's than you good folks do with your Mavericks, I guess it only fair y'all get to go first. So, get that meetup planned, then we can use your plans to get ours ready. I thought Albert @Granger...
Pushing 68 with a very short stick. If I could get my dearest to go along with it I would trade my Ranger for a Maverick Lariat. But, I pushed her with my order of a new Bronco, and I really don't want to mess that up. :)
James, I think the dark part is actually black. However, I going on what I saw in the new Bronco when they visited a local dealer. The Outer Banks trim has the colors same as a Lariat, and the interior in the one I saw was trimmed in black. It actually looked great. But, as we know Ford has some...
Being a bit more mature (re: old) than many here I remember the first CVT's that hit the market. What a disaster. But, I'm sure they have come a long way since the dark ages. I too am puzzled that you can't get the AWD with the 2.5L hybrid.
I'm guessing Ford has hit it out of the park with the Maverick. I remember back in the old days the number of little Toyotas, and Nissans on the road. If the Maverick taps into that market they won't be able to keep them on the lots.
Tom is for real Bob. He has many reservations from members of the Bronco forum, and knows his business. He is one of the rare ones that keeps his customers updated on their orders.
I tried hard to not like this truck, but I just can't. The only thing that stops me right now is the bed length, so I'll need to stick with my Ranger. But latter on down the road if things change, I'll have to stop by my Ford dealer. Home run for Ford.
I hope somewhere a long the line Ford...
This may help some of you cope a bit more. I reserved a new big Bronco on 10/04/20. It was converted to an order on 03/03/21. But, I waited later to reserve than many, wanting a later delivery date. Mid '22 was my hope. Now we have a chip shortage, Webasto the hard top manufacturer can't get all...
I would certainly hope that Ford doesn't plan on the same tactic they are using for the big Bronco. I reserved my Bronco 10/04/20, the dealer placed the order on 03/03/21. I'm so far down the line the dealer will call me again when the '22 order banks open, and we'll place the order again. So...
