Like my other Fords I expect the change interval will be 5K miles. My Fords came with the Motorcraft syn blend oil, but I don't know what will be in the Maverick.
I understand. I can't put into words my thoughts on that color combo. Ford used black accents with the Roast in the Bronco, and it looks really nice. But blue accents.........really Ford.
This video shows the Maverick in red with the brown, and blue interior. And to top all that off it has grey...
Joe, IIRC those things may expire if you don't use them a little along the way. You may want to read up on the rules as I can't remember exactly how it reads. Imma gettin' old don'tcha know. They gave me 42K for buying my Ranger last year. I'm just gonna use them for oil changes right now as...
I don't disagree with you at all either. There's doesn't seem to be a good answer on how to handle reservations. The reservations for the Bronco has became FUBARed with all the supplier issues along with some issues within Ford itself. It appears the first test drive I'll get in a Bronco is when...
I reserved my Bronco with Granger. I wouldn't blame them at all if they changed their deposit request with the way this Bronco fiasco has unfolded. Of course none of this debacle is Grangers fault. They just have to deal with the fallout.
I'm not disputing your word, but that sounds off to me. Granger isn't asking for any type of non-refundable deposit on the Bronco, and is only going to ask for a $500 deposit when we get a build date. I would call back to see if you can confirm that.
Atom, Sorry I edited my post with the correct information. When I read your post the first thing that ran through my mind was adding it after the purchase. Old minds going bad. So, yes it would show up under reservations. I guess Ford is the one to do that.
Your dealer should have the order number. Give 'em a call. Also, ask your salesperson to call you when they get your VIN from Ford. With your order, and VIN numbers you can track the progress here. Warning, you will find yourself checking it several times a day. I know this from experience. :)...
Albert was a big presence on the Bronco6g forum, and was the main reason I decided to drive the 1100 miles to get mine. He was a fine man, father, and friend to many of us on the forum. If anyone here is interested we have set up a memorial fund for Alberts favorite charity. All the proceeds...
Several days after my salesguy put in the order for my Ranger I noticed he got the color wrong. As I sat there he went back into the system, and changed the color with no problem at all. You can change anything you want on your order up until you have a VIN assigned to your order. If your...
True sir, the devil is always in the details. My OCD is the maintenance on my vehicles, but some of the caveats in these type of warranties would even cross me up. But, if one can get it all right I guess it would be a good deal for them.
Granger received over 1000 Bronco reservations for a reason. They are upfront, honest, they keep their customers updated as much as possible, and had the best deal in the country. When local dealers in my area, even the big ones, were saying sticker price or even dealer mark ups, this small town...
Ford has a manual mode in most of it's truck, i.e. my Ranger. Pull the shifter into "M", and there's a button on the shifter to change them manually. I would think they would have that on the Maverick also. But..........
Dang a 2.3L in the Maverick would be a blast. The way it moves my Ranger is amazing. I can't imagine what it would do with less weight. Even without a tune the Maverick would be a screamer.
