I was the guy on the "reverse" side of this same equation... The dealership got a cancellation from the customer, but it was already scheduled so it went forward. I made a deal to purchase it, put down a deposit, etc. But just 2 days before they received the truck, the original order guy said...
Well, the Carbonized Gray Maverick arrived at the dealership, and I purchased airline tickets to go pick it up. Sadly, at the last minute, the person who placed the original order decided he "wanted to see it" before officially canceling the order. And, of course, when he saw it, he decided he...
I'll be extremely happy if the BAP on Lariat has cloth seats. Didn't really want ActiveX to begin with, but went Lariat to be able to get ACC. But since my order acceptance letter says Onyx black vinyl seats, I suspect that the Facebook post is wrong. (Gasp! Imagine that!)
There is a dealer in Virginia who has a whole bunch of XLs on the lot. I didn't check further because I was looking for a Lariat Lux/360. And a week or so ago, I saw another dealer in Arizona that had a whole bunch of White XLs on the lot. Again, I didn't investigate further...
And yet my "order accepted" letter from Ford confirming my order for a '23 Lariat Hybrid says "vinyl seats" plain as day... LOL
PS - I'd really prefer cloth over ActiveX or even leather (since it's not perforated and there's no vented seat option). But to get ACC, you gotta get the ActiveX...
I'm equally grateful that someone posted this answer to a question I didn't even realize I had... I was thinking that with my tiny garage with its rather odd layout, I too would be in somewhat of a pickle... I was afraid that the only way I could park inside would be to back the truck in. But...
I'd prefer it to just default to the last drive mode that I selected. Just like the AC temp stays were I last left it instead of always defaulting to 74Âş or something equally silly. If you (Ford) are worried drivers will "forget" what mode they're in, perhaps you could just have the display...
Don't tell anyone in the Colorado mountain areas that Subaru's are unreliable. There are probably 40-50 of them that have well over 300,000 miles on them and are still going strong. And my buddy's WRX is a pocket Porsche, and a TON of fun to drive. (Just don't ask him about the mpg thing...)...
Yup... If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy... Lucky for me my wife said "Hey, it's your truck, so get the color you want!" (Helps that there's no "sage green" available - likely her first choice - and that she likes the Cyber Orange pretty well - her 2nd choice.)
My daughter just...
If you look at the Ranger with BAP, the exterior door handles remain body colored. Given that, it would seem the Packaging Guide pictures are correct. I'm pretty convinced the BAP comes with the interior door handles in black, and the exterior ones body-color.
Forgot to add: 66 years old. Retired IT Exec. Prior to that I was a US Army helicopter instructor pilot / aeroscout pilot.
I served during the longest stretch of time since WW1 that the US was not at war and/or involved in a "police action" anywhere around the globe... So I guess we did...
I was wondering how polls get created, so I investigated the process - at least far enough along to figure out how it would work...
When you create your new thread, you'll find a link way down at the bottom of the page - look just above the "Post Thread" and "Preview" buttons - that reads...
