You’re going off your ear. I’m going off scientific equipment. Ears can lie, sound and voltage measurements can’t. Ignorance can be bliss. In also work at a car audio shop and fix poor installs and customer decisions all the time.

I guess it’s not for everyone…I doubt there will be a kit that won’t require removing the bumper. Removing the bumper took less than 10 min. Wiring takes the most time if you don’t use the crappy t taps included in the kit.
