Love it! When is your build date? Letās camp for sure once you get your Packout Camper installed on your Mav.
Not as much as Iād like to. Only little upgrades here are there since the install. Major projects coming up include ACC upgrade, camper roof rack build, truck roof rack build, and...
Thanks for sharing @joewdunbar! The MTC community is rooting for you. š¤š¼
Iām in a simlar situation as you and am planning to drive the Mav across the country (and back) in the summer. I canāt have my rig just shutdown and held at the dealer because it will also be my house during the trip.
I am taking my Mav in for a warranty claim on two weeks to fix my broken spare tire winch. I put in the service request and going to insist my Service Rep write NO RECALLS in the service notes. If they insist on the recalls Iām driving off to deal with the winch another day.
Since Day 1 Iāve always found the Maverick seats uncomfortable. Especially in the front part of the seat. I feel like it already presses against my thigh. Last thing I would want is to raise the front higher.
Quick update:
I change my approach and just installed neodymium bar magnets in between the tailgate cover (which Iāll refer to as the āhatchā) and the tailgate itself.
As pictured the magnets were too strong and so I ended up removing two of the magnets (2nd away from each end). Even with...
This was my experience as well. I paid for my car in full via a cashiers check and had to wait over two weeks for my cashiers check to clear for my dealer to release my truck. I gave an unsatisfactory survey response and was continually asked to redo it. I never did because I was really was...
I didnāt know it doesnāt like the modified sine wave. Never actually tried charging through AC in the Mav. Good to know.
I run the bed 12V into a Victron Orion dc-to-dc converter (12 to 30Vdc) which then goes into Delta 2 via the XT60i Solar charge connector.
Hereās a link to the one I run...
Iām taking the rig cross country in the summer and dispersed camping along the way. Not camping in Indiana but I am camping in PA at Clarion River. Canāt vouch for it personally yet but itāll do to meet my overnight needs.

That was my thinking too and what I use in my setup. Plus I got to use my pre-tax salary via my Health Savings Account (HSA) which I also to stock my camping first aid kits.
I have some Scosche Pro2 mounts on the way. They are kind of pricey but well reviewed in the off-road / overlander community. Also check out 67 Designs which are also well received. I canāt vouch one way or another as I have not used any of them yet.
