I"ve been running 87 on my FX4 Mav with no issues since day one. I only go to 93 when I tow. I wonder if your station had water in the fuel due to the flooding. Now a days you don't see that as much due to better filtering and water separators in their systems.
Ford recommends premium when you will be towing or hauling heavy loads. Otherwise, Regular gas will be sufficient for day-to-day driving. Also, note that any fuel additives to clean the head/valves, etc will not work on GDI (Direct Injection Systems) like our Ecoboost Engines.
Hi all,
I'm ready to replace the Front PTU and Rear Differential Fluids on my FX4 Maverick. In reading through some posts I'm finding some conflicting information. So, I called the dealer and these are the correct part numbers. Let me know if you've seen this before.

Hello everyone,
I found a nice OE FX4 Rim and Tire from a junkyard to replace the smaller spare that comes with our Mavericks. Do you think this will fit in its place? If anyone has any info on the Tire Pressure Monitoring System seeing a fifth tire issues or problems? I wanted a full OE...
My EB Mav seems to have a whine in the transmission at certain speeds. It does get annoying if I don't have the radio on. Does anyone else notice this on their EB? I have about 8K miles on it now. Everything else has been great so far.
I have the same exact issue. I was debating whether to take it to the dealer and what they would do to fix it. Has anyone gotten a good fix under warranty? Please chime in.
