that I’m not accustomed too.
If only after being parked for sometime it is just surface corrosion. My work van sits for 3 days and if conditions are right it grinds a first press of pedal. Maybe second of first was minimal time or pressure applied.
Carried 12ft sheets of drywall in the past with my 3 Door F150 short bed. Less sticking out of the Mav with 8footers. Strapped properly it will be fine.
Car play is glitchy. Could be the phone or the truck. Guess you would have to try it in another vehicle. I will have to try it in my wife’s Bronco Sport. I believe it has an upgraded radio/sync.
Not a fan because I’ve had a shift lever for past 49 years. Really just miss it as a hand rest and sometimes I put in the wrong position for some reason.
I think you will find there is a box needed. A driver of sorts that goes under the truck. I spent some time at dealer. I have a diagram I can snap a pic of. It’s not very clear.

Lariat with CP360. Sound screen windshield is nice. Great not needing a key for any reason. Matching door handles and mirrors. Front headlight upgrade. Seat material and color. Worth it to me.
I have a Lariat. You really don’t see much carpet. But I would prefer a dark matching blue instead of black. And dark blue optional weather tech type mats.
