Do you know if there any YouTube videos showing how to remove the plastic to get better access to the battery. I can't follow the pics without and explanations.

I notice the plastic surrounding the battery in this picture has been removed. How difficult is it to remove the plastic because it seems to be very easy to get to the battery like this. FYI, I measured the factory battery and the new battery spec are the exact same dimensions.

Maybe since the new windshield was put in, there is less space! I never heard the rattles until my windshield was replaced. It could be between the dash and the window. Very hard to tell, much troubleshooting is needed to find the source and the dealer won't find it for you, unfortunately...

That could be a problem, but should not cause a deep dash rattle sound. I have had my windshield recently replaced and those alignment clips were removed. At 17,000 miles, I now have deep rattles only when going over certain roads. I don't hear it over railroad tracks. You can always hear it...

If the 2025 Maverick didn't look stupid in the front, people might consider a trade in. I don't want to look stupid for extra accessories. I just don't like they way they changed the front! My 2022 looks just fine in the front compared to the 2025.

When your warranty is up and you are looking for a new 12 volt battery, make sure you are checking the size. The Hybrid Maverick 12 Volt Battery is small in size and only non MotorCrap AGM batteries will work. I bought the Extended Warranty so I keep getting batteries anytime I need one.

To my knowledge, Motorcrap does not make an AGM battery the correct size for the Hybrid. If you want an AGM that fits, you need to buy another brand. I will be on my fifth battery as soon as I take it back in to the dealer again for the Deep Sleep issue. In 2 1/2 years I only have 13k miles on it.

Someone already makes a 2 piece aluminum cover for this area but I can't seem to find where I saw it.

Unless I am missing something, this product is not any where close to what everyone is talking about being skuffed. It's the whole 5 inches on the bottom full width of the door panel. Every other time someone gets in or out of the truck, their toe may hit that bottom part of the door panel.

I just thought I would let everyone know that this seal shown is a Universal Seal and is not the exact one for the Maverick which they have recently come out with. The Maverick Seal is installed on the Tailgate itself and not on the Bed...
