I am assuming this involves the interior surfaces of glass. The windshield surface is above the dash, which is plastic. And when sun heats the dash, it releases, out gas chemical, leaves a film on the windshield interior surface. And difficult to remove.

Got 4 so far. 2 regarding the rear light, both taken care of. 3rd was windshield wiper motor. Just took care of this one this week. 4th will be the camera/screen freeze. So far no issues with it, yet still under recall. Guess I won’t use reverse? 😝
