A question…my Maverick one subject to the windshield wiper motor and back up video/screen freeze recalls. Monday, have appt with local dealer to address the wiper motor. So that, hopefully, would be addressed, cleared.
So far, to date, not seeing any issues on a screen video freeze. Understand...
I have a 12VDC compressor, one that rated to 100 psi discharge. Will not take one rated for 150, 175 or 200 psi. Why? Cause smaller piston, displacement and low volume of discharge. These types will take longer to pump up, run a longer time.
I got Ford ESP for my F250 while just barely under factory warranty. No issues here. However post factory warranty, after the ESP term reached, I reapplied again, and Flood advised truck needed inspection, because they say it classed as “used”.
If you decide to go either the Flood or Granger route, be advised your truck will be treated as a “used vehicle”, and probably undergo a vehicle inspection. But don’t take my word, do contact either to confirm requirements. My F250 reached the Ford ESP limits, and I decided to do it again. I was...
My truck was over pressure. I adjusted it later. Have a compressor in garage. Use it often. Wife says her Escape tires look low…so I put the gauge on it to satisfy her. Told her not to hit holes or objects on the road, makes tires bleed off air. Seriously, they won’t but she the one who gets the...
The mobile tech who did my software dump warned the TPMS system might be affected. He didn’t have his sensor “clicker”. I took truck to closest Ford dealer, they did it at no charge.
But I was watching TPMS before the reset, and seen no adverse effects.
Good idea! I got a bunch of these. Every once in while, HF has coupon flyers, and these are free with a purchase. For a guy who has most every tool, not need other, I usually hit the “reduced price” bin, get something cheap, then grab one of free light to check out.
A storage box to put in bed to store a small floor jack, a X lug wrench, few tools, and first aid kit, air compressor, among other items. Low profile, prob something like 10x10x30 size, metal.
Believe the mileage part of an extended warrant starts when you purchase the vehicle. So if you got a 5 year, 60,000 mile extended warranty, it’s 60,000 minus the 36,000 factory miles.
Yep. Never said standard. Automatics.
But use left for clutch and right for brakes . Then to get rolling, right on gas petal, left on clutch. 2 foot. similar?
Since I started driving automatics, I probably the only one who does this, most times use left foot to brake. Some say dangerous to do that. But hey, moving foot from either petal could also be dangerous, if an instantaneous moment required.
Got the habit from positioning vehicles inside auto...
The gasoline tax, federal and state, covers for road and maintenance of them. With full EV, no gasoline used, ride on roads free, so to speak. So states tack on a fee to registration, license renewal for highway use.
