LOL...yes, I am replacing my 2017 Fusion. I lost my Ranger for this very reason (popularity). I replaced a 1999 F150 when I bought the Ranger and my college age daughter immediately "claimed" the Ranger. The rest of the family defended the action so what is a 'dad' to do?
In seriousness...
So does Sodium-Ion. Much cheaper than the Lithium-Ion (something like 70% less expensive), can be manufactured in the same Li-Ion plant, takes a higher charge rate, and has a slight boost in range. It is a great time to be alive!
There is one way to 'cure' that affliction...a new Mustang GT convertible! Economical driving fun gets checked by the side of the road pretty fast when the 5.0L rumbles to life! 🤣😆🙂
There is always a lot of planning and preliminary content discussions that go on before a program gets 'approved' which is then considered the official kickoff and people are assigned and real work starts. The Maverick was 3 years from kickoff to release.
I am also old enough to remember pushing it nervously to 65 MPH in the 55 MPH National speed limit ever watchful of the radar gun. Today I regularly do 80 in the center lane of the highway while traffic blows by me in the right and left lane with some having a differential speed so fast they...
It's funny because that charge is on the order confirmation FROM FORD, not the dealer. They can charge me an $80 fee if they want...it's a $31k truck so live it up! Every tank full in my possession will be a huge savings for me 'to infinity and beyond!'
Okay, maybe that's the wine talking. But...
You will need what is called a 'baseplate' that is a bracket that mounts to the truck chassis and connects to the towbar. Each towbar manufacturer designs their own.
I am going to be watching this also. I went through this on the 2019 Ranger I bought and it took about 8 months before...
The electric AC pump runs off the high voltage ''traction battery' not the 12v starting battery. The vehicle manages the batteries charge levels (both) and will start the engine to prevent the batteries from discharging too low.
To all, thanks for the replies! I did check and the Maverick Hybrid is flat towable. The 2.0L (FWD or AWD) is not so I changed my order to the Hybrid when I found that out. I like that MotoJackRack but it has me wondering what the class hitch is on the 2k towing level. Class III? If so it can...
In about 4 years I plan to retire, hook the truck to the motorhome, put a motorcycle in the bed, and head out on extended explorations of back roads, trails, and off the beaten path attractions. I bought a 2019 Ranger to facilitate the plan but the truck weighs 4500lbs so I can take the truck...
Typically the colors are batch built in the body shop and held in an area where they get 'picked' based on the rotation number being called up next and sent into assembly. Everything at that point sequences into preassembly for that rotation number and meets the main assembly point just in time...
My hitch step works with the tailgate down on my Ranger. It extends out when needed. And I need it on the Ranger. The Maverick has a significantly lower tailgate height.

The towbar baseplate that gets mounted to the truck will likely protrude from the two plugs for the FX4 tow hooks. I hope they are pretty easy to knock out.
I was a bit surprised to find out that Sync3 was not available until you checked the box for the Luxury Package on the Lariat. What runs that 8" touchscreen on everything else? It looks like Sync3 but it is not listed at all. Sync3Lite?
Tim answers the flooring question in this video at the 4:58 mark. The rest of the video is dedicated to 'updates' on other questions looking for clarification like cruise control and such.
