Yea, my lifetime average is right about 30 mixed suburban driving, sometimes loaded to payload max. Just ordered a 2024 AWD to help with the heavier lifting.
Carbon dioxide is one thing, the thousands of chemicals burned and released into the air is a whole other discussion, along with spillage. We use nearly as much electricity refining gasoline than the energy used from it. Never mind exploration, drilling, pumping, transporting, and storing...
No doubt, I have many miles with both and enjoy them both for their bandwidth. The blowing engines apart or hybrid shutting down I don’t care for either.
That’s awesome. I just order another XL but with AWD and 4K, which will have cruise. It does better and much faster than our city van and it’s droning CVT.
Pretty big difference between 31 and 37 though. Putting it Eco just makes it easier to maintain constant speed on the highway since no cruise control. I have ordered cruise control but not installed yet. Maybe this weekend.
Why would I not drive in the mode most suited for the trip? Which mode do you believe would have provided a better experience under the conditions? Wrong answers only.
I do keep track since it’s business use. This was just a fun post really. This is kind of an outlier trip, real cumulative average is right about 28.5. My trip to the west into the wind and rain yesterday certainly was lower. This trip was easy traffic and me not being in a hurry since it was a...
My original day 1 order was the $19,995 truck. XL hybrid, no options. It only got changed to EB because of the lead time was like a year since XL are of little priority and hybrids are production limited. When it was changed to EB/FWD, it was optioned with 4K tow. I had a day 1 order, but since...
That’s great but it spends very little time in slow traffic. A hybrid is great and I might get one for personal use, but it would have been the wrong choice for this application. It’s good to have bandwidth and separation in your models. The Maverick with both choices available gives it the...
Exactly. They are both great for their intended purpose. This was just a fun post but of course it’s some peoples’ first day on the internet. I have driven them both a lot and might even get a hybrid for personal use.
