    I dont think ford will tell you its ok to use 87 octane if it would cause issues. However eco boost motors can benefit from higher octane giving them time to change the tune, I know for sure on Rangers with 2.3 it is not in 5 miles.

    Seems odd that 2025 already scheduled has exhausted supply items. AWD hybrid,19 inch wheels etc.

Dealer told me that there are torque limiters (nannys) that lower torque output in certain situations to protect the drivetrain from damage,and one of the limiters were if the steering wheel was turned.     No email yet for me. I did call customer service and they have my order. I also asked them about the $750 cash offer they sent me in the mail that expires 9/30 and they said no problem , it still will be good. Rep was nice and gave me $100 gift card for Ford merchandise.
