I had 6 build dates until finally they started building last week. But since the truck in built in Mexico and last week they probably was shut down for a couple days for Cinco De Mayo.
When you get scheduled to be built for a certain week. They will give you a vin number. When you can see your window sticker, your within days to be being built.
After getting a production date changed 6 times. Ford is finally building my Loaded Lariat this week. What could go wrong for a truck built in Mexico during Cinco De Mayo? But I am very happy its finally getting built after a 9 month wait.
I had ordered a 2000 ford F-150 Lariat from a local dealer. One day I was driving by the dealership and saw it on the lot. The following Monday I stopped by the dealership and they told me it was never on the lot. They had sold it to somebody else probably for more money and reordered mine...
Been waiting 9 months. I have had 6 different build dates. Every time i get within 1 week of a build date. Ford sends me another build date further down the road. My dealer has one on the lot for sale, but not willing to spend thousands over the MSRP.
I was originally scheduled for a April 4th week build. That was bumped to the week of April 18th. That was bumped to the week of April 25th. That was bumped to the week of April 11th. That was bumped to the week of April 25th. And just yesterday I got bumped to the week of May 2nd. That...

I have had an April 4th build week. April 18th build week. April 25th build week. April 11th build week. April 25th build week. Until it actually gets built. These dates mean nothing.
The sticker on my maverick was around $38,500. Since I ordered it, they have increase the price almost $1500. So there are $40,000 mavericks out there without a markup.
I was looking to buy a Kia Forte and on the window sticker of every new vehicle had the Vin etching, ceramic coating and a few more items for a couple thousand dollars extra. I was told that the dealer adds them on to all their vehicles. In the end I got the Kia without those add-ons. THe...
I have yet to see a new Maverick on the road. At only 19,000 sales nationwide. That could explain not seeing them on the road. The only real place I want to see a new Maverick is in my driveway.
