Went in for airbag recall.
I had actually pulled some of the interior out myself prior (due to a paintless dent repair on the roof) - and I carefully pulled each panel out according to the motorcraft instructions. The techs literally only had to pull the upper b...
So weirdly my truck went in for recalls last week (airbags and brake lights) and during the reprogramming process the programmer lost communication to the bus. At no point was I experiencing any issues prior to this. Now the truck wont start or go into gear.
At this point the tech has traced...
Mine is apparently "bricked" while at the dealer - the dealer cant get any systems to respond / lots of lights on the dash.
Id love any thoughts you have on this - pretty sure they were performing the same update.

It is completely possible to unfasten the sharkfin antenna from the roof with just removing the rear dome light.
However removing the entire sharkfin requires unplugging the harness - which would require removing the upper B and upper C pillars.
@shazel how does the rear dome light assembly remove from the headliner?
i cant figure out how to get it out.

Has anyone pulled the headliner? I bumped the shark fin on my garage door and now its not sitting flush against the roof.

then that means your coolant is low and not touching the sensor. when you are spinning the engine faster/the truck is moving around - then the sensor is touching the coolant.

1. someone may have been working on your car before the prius came into frame - the prius may have only pulled up once they were in.
2. repeating the fob - not sure on range honestly.
