Found on Amazon. The only aftermarket high flow filter I’ve found yet. There’s more intake and turbo noise. It definitely sounds and feels like it’s breathing better. The best part of this filter is that it’s still enclosed and allows you to retain the factory airbox and plumbing that pulls...
I will probably end up getting springs or coilovers to get the ride height just where I want it. Looking for more of a performance oriented drive. In order to fill out this huge wheel wells I figured I would go with 19s. I would prefer them to be as wide as I can get away with, without them...
First tank of gas as it was given to me was 87 I believe. Been trying to get a feel for the performance with 87 in. As I’m getting close to my first full up with 93. So I’ve been driving it a little harder trying to burn off the 87. The biggest thing I noticed with sport on is the pedal mapping...
Just talked to AFE. They weren’t much help. They said they just haven’t had one in yet to take measurements. I even gave them the K&N number to search. The guy that answer the phone was a sales guy. So he didn’t put much effort into seeing if they already had something that would work. He did...
Drove to auto zone for some rainx wiper fluid. Figured I would pull out the air filter and see if they could find an existing drop in that would work for the Maverick. No such luck. Was hoping that the AFE had something off the shelf that would fit. I find it interesting that the filter is...
Funny how many people think it’s ugly. Interesting that some of the same people think this truck should be lifted instead. Like it’s an off roader. “Not my cup of tea. I’m gonna jack it up and make it something it’s not”.
if those fender flares were available I would take a set
Another thing when selecting a mode.
the first time you hit the button, it doesn’t change to the next mode. It just shows you the mode you’re in. A little annoying
You have to hit the mode button 5 times to get into sport mode. Wish there was just a sport button.
And before someone says “that would cost more money”, duh. I’d pay the extra $8.
Ride becomes stiffer but better in the corners. More of a performance than comfort mod. Unless your the guy in the article where you are more concerned with how it looks
Looks great. But I would wait until there’s springs and struts made FOR the Maverick. Cutting springs is a no-no. And the right spring for the right application is crucial. If the goal is looks, just cut the stock coils. Then park it somewhere so you don’t have to drive it.
