I want to see if Bilstein makes their PSS line of coilovers for the Maverick. I think this truck will need a little more adjustment to get sitting right. I don’t think a simple spring swap is going to be ideal.
A quality adjustable suspension is well worth the investment.
Same. Had to stop myself from just ordering them. I’m not pulling the trigger until I get shipping confirmation. Might just wait until I can inspect it first. With Fords track record lately
Yeah, still going by the 37.5mm everyone has accepted as correct. I really need to know if that’s not right. Don’t want to order wheels with the wrong offset
I would more than likely fit the widest tire I can fit on an 18” wheel. The wheels I’m looking at are 9.5” wide. So they are going to stick out a little
1.) (If it fits) a subcompact pistol covered by a hidden door/picture of Chuck Norris.
b.) Boost gauge, iat gauge, ecu programmer/controller.
3.) Phone mount
It’s an interesting comparison.
Both are equipped with almost identical HP/TQ numbers. Maverick is a hair longer, wider, but the Lightning is a couple inches taller. The Maverick weighs in 700Lbs lighter than the original lightning.
Pretty cool that we’ve come far enough that a little 4cyl can...
This is what I’m after. Not slammed. But better handling, tighter suspension. More performance than 4x4 or utility. I’m digging the black grill trim too.
Any info on the source of this pic?
I know OEM wheels are 37.5mm. 40mm would put them just a hair closer on the inside. But it looks like 40mm is pretty popular for our aftermarket wheel options.
Depending on the trim materials I may decide to wrap a few things. More than likely wrap the rear door cards to keep them from getting drool marks on them
