Huh, I had a November 28th build date change on Tuesday. I logged in on that day to check my status and it all looked the same. I logged in today and my "order confirmed" and "ordered on" dates are gone

Same here. I plan on keeping my Mav for as long as it lasts, but with them rushing it out I'm starting to worry about build quality. No matter what anyone tells you no one does their best work under a crunch.

I have the 2" Thule T2 pro. It's capacity is 60lbs per bike. I take out the batteries on my ebikes before i load them and it works out. You said yours are 70 lbs which is too much, but it might be an option if the batteries are removable...
