They all get the same info sent to them.
Whether or not they read it is the important bit.
Some sales folks don't read bulletins. Others aren't allowed. Others trust that their manager will tell them. Others literally don't know how to read memos.
It's all about how crummy communication is...
Ford is an OLD company and their tech org is just the same.
A modern company could have all this streamlined and updated live on their website. Ford has dragged it's heels on technology for decades, so is wouldn't be surprised if all this stuff runs on COBOL on servers in some dilapidated...
Huh, I had a November 28th build date change on Tuesday.
I logged in on that day to check my status and it all looked the same.
I logged in today and my "order confirmed" and "ordered on" dates are gone
Same here. I plan on keeping my Mav for as long as it lasts, but with them rushing it out I'm starting to worry about build quality.
No matter what anyone tells you no one does their best work under a crunch.
It cracks me up that beanie babies had more consumer protection than Ford does. Ford dealers are nothing more than Authorized retailers/resellers and Ford doesn't give a damn.
If you sold beanie babies for higher than $5.95 during the craze they would either slap you with a volume limit or...
I was very hopeful when I ordered my Mac last September that my 03 Ranger would do.
Pretty quickly it developed a few issues and i really needed a back seat for the car seat. Sold it for much more than I paid for it in 2016 and i still see it kicking around the neighborhood.
Picked up a 05...
I have the 2" Thule T2 pro. It's capacity is 60lbs per bike. I take out the batteries on my ebikes before i load them and it works out.
You said yours are 70 lbs which is too much, but it might be an option if the batteries are removable...
Bless you for thinking that Ford uses any sort of modern development tools. I wouldnt be shocked to hear that in order to open a ticket you have to email some Jr Dev who adds it to a spreadsheet.
I like how this whole thing glosses over "the trailer brakes may apply without the vehicle brakes being applied"
Sure brake lights is a safety thing, but trailer brakes just randomly applying is 100x worse.
Catalytic converter / resonator / underside protector. I know the hybrids cat is in the engine but the thieves are getting stupid.
Anything for protecting from rust. I'm up here in MN and worried about the Mav turning into a rust bucket.
All in one bed cubbie kit. Either an emergency roadside...
Gah, I'm too nice. The rep on the phone was so helpful when I called it just couldn't get myself to demand the gift card.
HOW DARE THEY BE HELPFUL AND NICE!
I've ran departments of engineers, tech, IT, actuarial, analysts and other professional folks.
It's depressing how often I've had to explain this to folks. I've even had to break out a spreadsheet to explain it because they didn't believe me.
Always makes me question if I've made a grave...
