Right on! I'm a first day MY23 Lariat Lux hybrid and it's almost here. My dealer (small dealership) had one rollover (PC 10) and I was next at PC 11. Dealership allocations and priority codes are important but you are spot on to remember that many, not all, of the first couple months of MY23...
Yes, it does not matter from dealer to dealer only priority codes within a dealership. If you are a priority code 12 but there is an 11 in front of you at the same dealership, that 11 will be looked at before your 12. If the 11 has no constraints to hold up the build, it will get scheduled...
You will likely see your sticker tomorrow or Wednesday. They've been posting them recently right at one week prior to actual build date...not always, but more than not recently. Good luck!
I saw this on its own thread but it would mean more with other alto blue owners (mine is on the rail to Chicago) so thought I'd post it here.
The question is--have you added tailgate letter stickers? If so, which color looks best with the alto blue? Thank you in advance.
Congratulations! Just keep in mind, your truck may not be on Union Pacific so the phone number might be different than posted for UP. For instance, mine is on Norfolk Southern but there is also CSX, etc. Your dealer should know as long as they are familiar with VinView like @E30andrew stated.
I can understand the varying locations en route, however, I can't understand it already having been in NM, leaving TX and going back to NM! That's insane if accurate!!!
I've used it three times today without issue. Don't speak your answers, type them in with the keypad.
Call 800-635-5768
Press 2
Press 2
Enter letters on the keypad then press # Ex: TTGX would be typed as 8849 (then #)
Enter numbers of the rail car then press # again. Be prepared for 5-6...
Nope, it should not be! You are price protected and receive the price it was when you ordered. The truck has a $400 increase and they raised destination $100. You have the DORA with YOUR price!
Good afternoon...if it's not too much trouble, could you check one more? TTGX698053 headed to RAK6. Thank you so much but no problem if you are unable to check.
I would say based on this that your truck is definitely built, however, I see it's been in production since 3/1 but apparently your tracker isn't showing "built". That may be due to the off-site work needing done such as the cover, splash guards, etc. Hopefully very soon you will receive that...
Show them this and ask where they are seeing your truck has the recall! Sounds like they would prefer to not sell to you so they can make some quick cash! Tim Bartz says and shows exactly how they can find your private offer!
I'm not aware of checking where in the line it is once it starts the actual build process, however, you can go here https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt with your VIN and it will tell you once the truck is "alive". When the battery is connected and all the electronic modules are...
