It does seem a little out of whack doesn't it? All include destination fees. Here in Canada the Mav is 36.3% more while the Santa Cruz is 59.2% more. Wonder if I'm missing something here, the 36% difference in Canada is about the same as the dollar difference but Hyundai, WTF? Canadian base...

Not quite a fair comparison, How about how long it takes to get a F150 or Ranger? Similar to a Tacoma, at least here in Canada, they are no where near in demand as much as the Hybrid Mav is..
