I would avoid that truck. Mod of the exhaust may indicate a hard driving style of the previous owner. Who knows why they sold or traded the truck and possible problems with future warranty work because of the mod(s?).
Back to the original question of where do you put the maintainer port.
Hereās where I put mine and wired it to the under hood, jumping point for positive and directly to one of the grounds on the frame.
Those voltages sound reasonable; but be aware the actual voltage may be a little different.
I have 3 of those plug in "meters" in different vehicles; when checked against a "better" volt meter, each on reads 0.2 to 0.3 V lower than measured with a stand alone meter. Measured in the same plug...
Thatās true but Amazon is frequently wrong!
One has to do their own research and then decide what works and what will not. I have found other car parts that were not ālistedā for a certain application, but cross reference showed they were the same part.
I'm in total agreement and sympathy with you; but the real demon in this scenario is the person who plowed into you.
Following too close or too fast or distracted, they bear the responsibility in my book.
My '24 hybrid had the crappy flooded battery (made in Spain) Not an AGM.
I have replaced it with an H4 AGM and the AGM performs well and entirely differently from the flooded battery. I'll be doing a post on the difference soon.
I donāt have a beef with you; just trying to help.
That Service bulletin and others on the same topic are not written very well and Fordās Response and lack of a solution to this problem is Not what one would expect from them.
Please use the ignore button if you donāt wish to see my responses.
So? At 9.5 v the battery is dead.
50% state Charge is 12.0 to 12.1 volts.
0% state of charge is 10.0 V.
What Ford is saying is that if you have a dead battery youāll get the message.
Sorry, but no sympathy here. I waited 22 days short of a full year for my 2024.
It was an XL ordered July 17, 2023 and delivered June 25, 2024! Three weeks of that time was after it was shipped.
lajlmt,
not advice to you, but to the original poster who seemed highly torqued by recalls!
Personally I'm with you, but if it causes him stress he can easily remove the cause of the stress! ;)
Trade it or sell it, I doubt very much you will take any "loss".
Don't just complain, change!
No need to be aggravated by some vehicle when you have scores of options to change too.
A liquid cannot be compressed.
The compressor takes low pressure, refrigerant as a gas and increases the pressure and the temperature which then allows the high-pressure gas to be condensed into a high-pressure liquid. This takes place in the condenser as the high pressure high temperature has...
Yes, it has to be computer controlled with inputs from manual demand settings for fan and temperature, and other sensors for temperature differentials. I don't know how the 3 phase motor is controlled for speed; I have a three phase controller on one of my drill presses and its "magic" to me...
