I placed a couple of blocks of stiff foam between the seat bottom and the anchor points. The blocks are high enough so you have to firmly push down on the seat bottom to get them to lock. This seems to have resolved my rattle issue.
Thanks for the reply, Todd. I'll take a closer look at the wiring harnesses and such next time I go in there. I keep several types of foam on hand for this exact reason.
Hi everyone,
I own a 2023 XL Hybrid, and I've been chasing a rattle-like noise coming from the passenger side rear seat area ever since the truck was new. I have searched the MTC forums for others who have encountered a similar issue, and have performed the following: (With no success)

Any updates on this? I'm having the same issue, only mine is coming from the rear passenger side door card.
I had my wife ride back there (her hearing is better than mine) and she said that the noise was coming from the upper/rear portion of the door card. This is the area of the door closest...
A friend of mine recently installed two of these in his Tacoma. I was impressed with the bass output given the size of the enclosures. He mostly listens to rap music, and the subwoofers did pretty good there. According to him, the only negative is he has not found a way to turn off the blue...
Thank you for posting this. I just did this mod over the weekend and everything went as stated in the video without any major hiccups.
I will clarify, as already mentioned, the angle of the rod and the "throw" of the actuator are key elements to get the mechanism working properly. Once I sorted...
I have read through numerous installation threads on this forum, covering many different after market components. I have never seen anyone comment or mention doing anything "special" upon reconnecting the 12V battery.
I assumed there was nothing of note, but I just wanted to make sure prior to...
Thank you AF Blue.
From what I see when reading the excerpt you posted, if you only disconnect the negative terminal, you should not have to perform the battery sensor reset. I guess that's why it's pretty much a non-issue for most audio installations. Thanks again.
Steve
My question is directed at those who have installed any electrical components on a Hybrid Mav.
I have read that the Hybrid has a 12V battery monitoring system. Is there a procedure to follow if you are reconnecting a 12V battery that has been disconnected for any length of time?
Any insight...
Hi Lane,
I actually heard about the harness from someone on this site. That person mentioned that he verified that the harness will work on the Maverick. I believe the harness is for a Bronco sport. Thanks for the reply!
I have a XL with the non B/O base stereo. I have already upgraded the front speakers with Focal Co-ax Auditors. This provided some additional clarity and volume, but I am looking for something a little extra. I am considering the following upgrades, butI can only afford to do one of these at...
Thanks Colin. That's exactly what I was looking for. I don't want to mess with the factory harness at all. Again, thanks for putting the word out that this will work with our trucks. All the places that carried this made no mention that it would work on a Maverick.
I saw that on Amazon as well. Does the Amazon offering come with the additional harnesses mentioned in colinl's post? The picture only showed the main harness that goes between the factory radio and speaker harness.
