  1. Barely avoided some Maverick on Maverick violence this morning...

Single lane roundabouts aren't too bad, but it seems like multi-lane circles are more difficult to navigate to know if both lanes can go straight through, or only the left lane goes straight and the right only diverges. Signs indicating which lane does which are often too close to the...
  2. Labored Engine Noise

Did both of these Mavericks have the same engine in them? The hybrid engine configuration has a speaker in the engine compartment which makes artificial noises when driving below a certain speed (35mph maybe?). I believe this was federally mandated in the last couple years for any...
  3. Keypad for the 2025 Maverick

The keypad for the 25's are a stick-on. There is no longer wiring in the door for a wired keypad. May also be the same way for the '24s, but don't know that for sure as mine is a '25.
  4. Hybrid fuel mpg

2025 Hybrid Lariat. At ~1000 miles, first two fill-ups calculated to 37.08 and 37.91 mpg in mixed driving, with about half of the distance on each tank on the highway, and the other half in-town. I didn't pay attention to what the truck was indicating for MPG, these numbers were calculated...
  5. Wind noise while driving

Ours is a '21 Limited, and it's quite tolerable over long drives. So maybe in the couple of years difference, along with a different trim level that Subaru has quieted the cabin.
  6. Wind noise while driving

If nothing else, ask your dealer if you can take another '24 of the same trim level you have for a quick drive to compare and see if the sound level is about the same or not. No Maverick is going to be whisper quiet, but at least with my Lariat, it's reasonably quiet for a truck, and I'd have...
  7. 2025 maverick parking brake "on", but i didn't set it

And the 10th thread would be asking how to add a higher-trim feature to a less expensive trim level.
  8. Keyless-entry keypad unavailable for 2025? (Updated!)

I got one for my '25 that I ordered with the vehicle. Dealer programmed it and let me choose exactly where on the vehicle I want to put it.
  9. Truxedo Soft Roll-up Tonneau Holds Water WAY Too Much

I question if it's installed correctly, as it looks like the front and side rails aren't attached to each other. The little tongue from the side rails should be slid into the front rail then have the side rails clamped down to hold everything together. The tonneau cover I have (different...
  10. ATTN: Amsoil Users and Potential Users

Despite having all the data and specs, if an oil isn't certified, would that be a reason for Ford (or other manufacturer) to deny a warranty claim?
  11. Bed cubby weatherproof?

Thanks. I'll have to look more closely tonight. Didn't see those at first glance.
  12. Bed cubby weatherproof?

For those that have had a cubby in the right rear of the bed, how weather tight is it? I'd like to store tiedowns, bungees, etc. in there for easy access, but it looks like there aren't any drain or ventilation holes in the cubby (or at least none that I could see). I'm concerned that if water...
  13. Hybrid artifical noises

Just received a '25 Lariat Hybrid with 4K tow, and so far so good. Loving the mileage, and it's quite comfortable as well. Looking forward to many years of service with it. Though the one thing I'm going to have to get used to is the artificial sounds the truck makes. I can deal with the...
  14. Swapping 2025 Larait 19s for XLT 17s… 2024? 2025? TPMS question.

Also note that I believe if one gets the exterior wireless keypad that it also uses a different frequency for the '25s as for previous yeas, so make sure that if you get one that it's for the '25s.
  15. Some 2025 Tremors sold without bed liners

Many people are of the opinion that a 3rd party spray-in liner (such as a LineX, for one example), will be a better spray-in than anything from the factory, and would prefer to go that route. I do believe that LineX does offer a much better warranty, plus different options for the spray-in...
  16. Which pressure gauge to believe? (and how long for TPMS to read?)

Looks like there's about a 2psi difference between the TPMS and your Ryobi with the Ryobi being higher. What I'd probably suggest doing is going to your dealer (or local trusted tire shop), and have them take pressure measurements with a quality pressure gauge. Then see how much off the TPMS...
  17. 2025 Maverick Lariat Almost Here

I would guess that they're being held at transload points where they've come off of railcars from Mexico, and are sitting in a large holding lot, waiting for trucks to haul them to dealers. If your truck is showing as being in Kansas City, my *guess* is that it's this lot: Transload KC...
  18. 2025 Maverick Lariat Almost Here

Per my dealer just this morning, my incoming hybrid Lariat (which has been stuck in Kansas City for at least 3 weeks now) has changed status to "shipable" (where it previously was "not shipable"). So evidence points to them working through the backlog of software updates and making progress.
  19. Anyone else delayed out of the New Boston railyard?

I have a Maverick that's been stuck in Kansas City since about 2/20 (headed to Iowa). Dealer checked VinView, and it has a status on it of "not shippable", but he doesn't have any more info or insight on what that might indicate.
  20. 2023 Climate Control Defugalty

If there's the traditional blend door which actually controls the flow of cabin air across the heater core, I wonder if that's not moving smoothly, and isn't adjusting properly? It might be worth using a thermometer to actually measure the temperature and see if there is a huge difference...
