  1. Alerts volume

Or similarly, adjust the volume of the turn signal audio indication?
  2. Best/easiest way to route rear window camera wire to dashcam by rear view mirror?

I'm going to be installing a dashcam with rear window camera, and wondering what's the best/easiest way to route the wire from the back window to the rear view mirror area where my dashcam will be mounted? I've seen some people that route it down and along the floor, and others that have taken...
  3. Fuel Consumption shocking

I find it curious that in the US, fuel efficiency is measured by distance traveled per unit of fuel, and in Canada, it's units of fuel per set distance.
  4. Arguing with the dealer over oil? Full vs semi synthetic oil

Yeah but the Frontier with the dual filters (at least on my '13) can be tricky to get the one in there properly slid to the slid in order to get the second one fully in. Had never seen a vehicle with 2 cabin air filters next to each other before, until my Frontier.
  5. NJ E-ZPass Help!

As someone who moves a transponder between vehicles, I'm not a fan of the sticker. I recently reached out to the Illinois I-Pass about it (which is compatible with EZPass and anything in the NE USA), and they said that when ordering a transponder, people will continue to have the option of a...
  6. 🎉 GIVEAWAY TIME + NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH 🎉

I'd use the cargo net to hold in place random junk high quality items while cleaning out my father-in-law's house.
  7. 🎉 GIVEAWAY TIME + NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH (Universal Flat Cargo Net) 🎉

I'd use the cargo net as a quick and easy way to replace tie-down straps to hold things in place while cleaning out my father-in-law's house. The cargo net would be a lot quicker to use than multiple tie-down straps that may not be exactly in the right place to hold assorted stuff in place on...
  8. 2025 - switching between navigation interfaces?

Maybe I haven't yet found the magic menu to do so, but is there a way while connected to Android Auto in my '25 Mav Lairat to switch back and forth between Google Maps and the Ford navigation display on the fly? It seems as if once Android Auto connects that Google Maps is the only map that is...
  9. Recommendations for loading ramps?

What have people used for loading ramps on their Mavericks? Looking for something that works well both with the tailgate attached and down, as well as situations where the tailgate is removed (due to weight of the load being rolled up into the bed being more than I want to put on the tailgate...
  10. This is why dealers get a bad reputation - My delivery experience

Unfortunately, the bad dealers sour the opinion of all dealers. Some are really good and efficient, and can be (mostly) trusted to their word. I was fortunate that my dealer and salesperson were honest and held up their end of the deal to the penny, and were excellent in communication all...
  11. Any experience with generic tonneau covers?

I did a MaxMate soft roll-up from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TSCYY6D and have been quite pleased with it. The only times it's leaked is going through a car wash and even then, it hasn't been a huge amount of moisture getting inside. Otherwise it's stayed dry inside even through rains...
  12. Maverick's new competition no longer competition

I had read somewhere a while ago (but unfortunately don't remember a source to quote) that another part of the reason manufacturers are getting away from king cabs and focusing on crew cabs is that without a B pillar of the crew cabs, it's harder to meet rollover safety requirements.
  13. 2025 Lariat Windshield Tougher than I expected

Had a pretty significant rock hit this weekend in my '25 Lariat (65mph highway). I didn't see it hit, but it sure was loud and startling when it impacted. At first thought for sure the windshield would have a huge chip in it, if not a crack as well. Ended up just a tiny nick in the glass...
  14. 2025 - Voice control of fan speed?

Played around with the auto fan setting a bit last night. I noticed that the fan blew really high when I had the AC temp set to "Low", but if I set it to something else (even the lowest actual temperature value and not just "low"), the fan slowed down a lot and was much more tolerable. Guess...
  15. 2025 - Voice control of fan speed?

Auto is a terrible solution for maintaining any sort of occupant sanity, as it'll blow the fan at random speeds, and for someone who is sensitive to air blowing around the cabin (both fan noise and airflow against the body), is a non-starter to maintain sanity on anything more than short in-town...
  16. 2025 - Voice control of fan speed?

On my 2025 Hybrid Lariat, Is there any voice command to the truck that can adjust the fan speed? I can use voice commands to control temperature, but haven't found any voice commands that work to adjust fan speed. Hoping there's some voice command I just haven't come across yet to do that.
  17. Tailgate Camera While Driving

What model/trim do you have? The answer may be different depending on what you're driving.
  18. Funny interaction

My wife was driving our Mav ('25 Lariat Hybrid) earlier this week, and pulled in to a gas station to fill up. As she stopped at the pump, she got quizzical glances from a couple of guys at the next pump. Since it was coming in via battery and not gas engine, it was silent (except for the...
  19. Differences between ‘22-‘24 and ‘25 from the rear?

The '25 won't have any factory-installed tailgate badges indicating Hybrid or AWD. Not that an owner can't add those on their own (or in a repair didn't have badges reinstalled), but for the '25's, the tailgate is blank for badges.
  20. Stuck in a quandary! Which would you get, AWD Hybrid or AWD Ecoboost?

With the '25's and AWD available with both powertrains (and therefore 4K tow with either engine), it's my opinion that if you want better fuel economy go for the hybrid. If power is your primary concern, go with the EB. Otherwise, they're pretty much the same vehicle with the same options with...
