  1. Why I am leaving the Ridgeline

Cherry pick much? How about towing capability, legroom and shoulder room? Overall length? Wheelbase? And the beds on the other midsize are 4 foot wide above the fender wells. Yes the Ridgeline is the roomiest midsize... That is by design and not because Honda is afraid.
  2. Color(s)?

Not a show stopper for some but in my experience, the metallic finishes are harder to touch up if you get a chip.
  3. Why I am leaving the Ridgeline

My wife has a 2019 Ridgeline AWD. It gets on average at least 5 MPG better than an average full-size half-ton. On pure highway driving it might get 8-10 MPG better. Agree, Ridgeline is absolutely a mid-size, and in no way could you compare it to a full size. It is the easiest to live with of...
  4. Selling to Vroom question *not selling a maverick*

That is how Carmax did it. When I sold my Suburban to Driveway.com they did an EFT a couple of days before they picked it up.
  5. FX4 vs 4K? Redundant?

This, if your towing the lower gear ratio is a no-brainer. If you decide to put bigger tires on the lower gear ratio will benefit you as well.
  6. Need some dad advice on trading in used truck or not

this is the way to make it hapen in the timeline the OP wants and will likely be the best financially as well.
  7. I test drove 4 vehicles yesterday...

As far as front seat leg room goes the Maverick feels like it has more than my wife's 2019 Ridgeline.
  8. I test drove 4 vehicles yesterday...

My thoughts for the OP: If you are considering CUV's then you have a lot of different options available. If you want a hybrid a RAV4 should be considered. Especially if you are paying above MSRP for a Maverick. Maverick Hybrid and Ecoboost are on a different level when comparing MPG. Which is...
  9. I test drove the Santa Cruz and wanted to share my thoughts.

    Sorry wrong thread please delete.
  10. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

That is my thought as well. Why risk getting a truck without the options I want and the end of MY 2022?
  11. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

Same email here. But I have XLT/LUX/4K/FX4/360. About the only option I would consider changing is color and removing FX4, maybe 360, otherwise, I would wait for MY 2023 if necessary.
  12. Towed 2006 Four Winns H180 & trailer (3000 lbs combined) flawlessly

I assume your trailer has brakes and you have the 4K tow package.
  13. Dealers selling "used" new Mavericks

Agree, used no question about it. And not to split hairs it may have been purchased outright by the dealer, rather than a trade-in for another vehicle. But to address your original post. The vehicles you refer to as low mileage and used could have easily been bought and sold by individuals...
  14. Dealers selling "used" new Mavericks

Apparently, someone traded or sold their hybrid with 9000 miles on it to the local Chevrolet dealer. Not sure about options but the dealer has it listed for $45K. It doesn't grind my gears at all because it is a free market...and I am free to walk away and let it sit until they lower their price...
  15. [1500 miles in 24 hours] My Mav's Been Everywhere Man, My Mav's Been Everywhere.......an Attempt at a Song, My Initial Thoughts and Some Pics!

I was hoping I would have mine in time to run my youngest son down for summer college in OX, MS at the end of May but at the rate, Ford is going I will be lucky to have it in time for my oldest son's graduation in May of 2023. Happy to hear you are enjoying yours.
  16. vehicle trade-in

Carmax Carvana Vroom Driveway Other? All offer free online quotes and allow you to compare quickly. Most were comparable when I sold my Suburban but Driveway offered me 5-6K more than the best offer of the others, sight unseen, and paid me upfront. After I signed the bill of sale they...
  17. Maverick Launch / Special Financing extended to Sept 30th

3-4 inquiries won't be an issue for you as inquiries don't have that much impact compared to delinquent or late payments.
  18. Maverick Launch / Special Financing extended to Sept 30th

Maybe but if you need reliable transportation to get to work and pay the bills the base model hybrid could make a lot of economical sense if you factor in a warranty and lower operating costs. Assuming that borrower has taken action to correct some of the issues related to the low credit score...
  19. Incentives and trade ins

Here is an example of how slow driveway works, they have a bill of sale, clear title, and are forecasting 3/5 business days before I see money in my account. And only then they will start the pickup scheduling process...I am in no hurry but it would seem driveway is risking a lot on price...
