My 2005 Xterra has broken down again this weekend. Went and got a 2022 Frontier on Saturday. Easy. Didn’t have to wait 6 months with no communication and it cost the same as the Lariat I have on order with Ford.
I just bought a 2022 Nissan Frontier. Been waiting on my Maverick for 6 months. Went to my local Nissan dealer and had a truck in less than 6 hours at the same price my Lariat Hybrid Maverick would have cost. If I ever get my order confirmed I will have to decide which one I like better. Not...
As long as the crucial chips are there for the truck to run and the heated seats don’t work I would be ok with getting that chip installed later. What I would hate to do is drop luxury package and then not have the option of ever having certain upgrades as I assume the whole system couldn’t be...
Exactly. If I could have chosen separate options I might not have upgraded to lux package. I wish they would remove anything that could be added later like the bed liner. That could at least speed things up I imagine. Even give us a IOU from the dealer if they don’t want to change the pricing.
I feel you. I ordered a Hybrid Lariat on 8/26. No further communication. I know there are delays but it would be nice if we could order directly from Ford. No allocations for dealers. We get an estimated build date immediately based on the date and trim/engine you ordered. First come, first...
I do wish we could order directly from Ford and get a scheduled build date immediately. Even if it was an estimate at least we would all have a vague idea of when we could expect our trucks. I was told November or December when I ordered. Over 4 months later and no idea if I’ll even get it this...
I think it is more like 37mpg combined, but for daily driving around town I should get at least 42mpg. It actually gets worse mpg on the highway (33mpg). But there is a thread on here where someone combined driving is getting 45mpg.
Mainly for the gas mileage. I don't need to tow anything really. 42 mpg will replace my Veloster (already sold it for more than I paid for it) and Xterra for most things. Still not sure if I will get rid of the 4WD Xterra. I could probably only get $3-4K for it.
The MSRP is above what the dealer pays for the vehicle. So even if they sell it at Suggested Retail Price they are still making money. I hear what you are saying about why not sell for $38k instead of $23K? Well, when you signed your order, that was the agreed-upon price. You got that deal for...
Definitely get some patience, some on here have been waiting since June or July to get scheduled. So when I get upset that I didn't get scheduled again, I have to remember that I ordered in late August.
I hope so. HAHA just kidding.
I'd feel more comfortable about the whole thing if I could just get a confirmation email that Ford does have an order...
I signed a Preview Order and a Special Order Buyer's Order. If you have both you should be good. You can call Ford Customer Service and...
Dude, bout had a heart attack. I ordered a pretty basic model. XL white Eco engine with AWD. My dealer said 3-4 month delivery. I'm not holding my breath.
Sorry lol. Those of us who have been waiting for months and months have a heart attack every Thursday hoping we get scheduled. Hybrid orders...
I am messing with you. You may not receive an email from Ford. I talked to them today and they said more times than not you won't receive an email until you get a VIN, which happens when your truck is scheduled to build. Hybrids are done for 2022. Ecoboost you might still get scheduled for 2022.
