Plan to take my maverick off road on some forest service roads in BC in the spring/fall. I'm not even sure what the factory tires will be (Lariat - fx4/luxury package/tow package), but I'm guessing they won't be great. Any recommendations on upgrades and/or where to get them?

Can confirm three weeks ago Langley went under msrp with no doc fee. All other lower mainland dealerships quoted MSRP plus a doc fee around $500. Kelowna beat Langleys offer by a bit. I didn't have a single dealership quote over MSRP in BC.

My understanding is it has to do with dealer allocation and that this dealer was allocated additional build spots because of volume they move. Buy who knows. Sounds like we will ultimately have the same truck. Do you have a build date from the January order?

Thanks, and I get that. I'll be in the Okanagan all summer anyway. That's the only reason I considered it. If it goes past August 31 as promised, I may pull out. The dealer was pretty insistent that we should have and I'm hoping it works out.

Update from OP - Put my order in yesterday with Kelowna Ford. They received additional build slots (or so they say) and went under MSRP promising delivery on or before August 31, 2022. I ordered a Lariot with Luxury package, Tow package, and off road package. Negotiated throw in splash guards...
