I have some but have never used them. They have a twisty glue coating to seal rubber. The pkg I have had several sizes. Looks like ok design.

From 10% to 15% is a 50% increase in heat generation activity of transferring the current into and out of battery though only when the ice is not active. The bigger motor may have helped with less heat generation through efficiency.
Someone posted a video once that showed his ice rpm. I don't know what the refresh rate on the display was but during the video the rpm was 0 in one frame and was 801 or 851 rpm in next frame. The 3 phase starter is almost instant.
