How much did you get for your Tremor? I just got a quote from Carvana for my 23 Tremor with only 7500 miles and the offer was $30K, which obviously I thought was too low.
I would wait for the 25. While the price my increase some, it's another year for Ford to add improvements, offer some prior upgrades as standard equipment, and correct a few more bugs.
I have a 23 Tremor, and the new Ranger was not yet available. If I had to do it today, I'd opt for the Ranger. If money is not a constraint, the higher price gets you a stronger engine, more gears, more towing, and a few more standard features.
I bought my 23 Lariat Tremor primarily because I have back problems and the Maverick Tremor suspension is softer than the 23 Ranger FX4. The Maverick has coil springs and the Ranger has leaf springs which ride very rough if the bed is empty. Now that the Ranger Raptor is available with its well...
It's not a fair comparison. The technology between then and now is an order of magnitude better, and the old Ranger was deliberately on the cheap as a business vehicle and for overseas markets.
Same thing happened to me. My wife and I drove old cars, so it was time to upgrade to vehicles with more safety features. She always liked the 4Runner, so we bought a new (2023) 4Runner for her, and got a new (2023) Maverick Tremor for me. Interestingly, when she goes out she takes the Tremor...
They also know how many times you exceed the speed limit, how many times you had to brake hard, where you've been, where you stopped, time of day, how long you were there, your maintenance records, and much more. Your insurance company is very interested in this information, and police can...
I inadvertently left something on when putting my 23 Maverick Tremor in the garage for the night. The next day I had a completely dead battery. I jump started using a battery pack I keep for such things, but upon starting there were numerous warning messages and features that no longer worked...
I purchased a Rexing R4 because I wanted side views in case of a traffic stop or (God forbid) a carjacking. Also, having a unit with motion detection might help in catching a perp in case of vandalism or a parking lot ding.
I am interested in seat covers, and I have a Maverick Tremor. I like the "Tremor" label sewn into the top of the backrest and the orange stitching. Is your company able to do some light customization making the covers look more like OEM?
