That does not surprise me at all. I'm trying to get my tires worn down as fast as I can so I can justify getting the Michelins.🤪 Have you observed a decrease in gas mileage? That was the only Knock on them on Consumer Reports. Also I'd like to see a pic of how they look on your truck if possible.
It looks incredibly good! Especially the headlights! I hated how my vanilla headlamps looked with so much clear/reflective surface area. I muted them with custom light smoke and the signal lamps got dark smoke. I'm okay with the look until the sick aftermarket lamps become available. This mod...
Nice pics. I'm glad to hear that the FWD is good in those conditions. I have already posted a few comments praising the factory Continentals on my AWD. I was set to replace them with Michelin Cross Climate 2. But I'm glad I didn't spend the money on them, as the stock tires are great in the...
I have the same issue. I was very annoyed with it, because it prevents the wipers from coming to rest all the way down when turned off. It's an obvious design flaw. My way of 'fixing' it was to replace the passenger side blade with one that is an inch shorter than the original. It still contacts...
I had those on my f150 4x4 and absolutely loved them in all seasons! I also think they're the best-looking a/t out there. It would be a bit odd to recommend those for a FWD Hybrid vehicle tho. Do you feel me?
My Maverick is AWD, and I was very skeptical as to how well the Continentals would perform in slick conditions-especially when the temperatures are in the -0s. We've had very slick snow-covered road conditions here in north Iowa and extreme cold over the past few weeks. I am incredibly pleased...
We're in the middle of a 2 day blizzard in Iowa. It is delivering blowing/drifting snow, sub 0 Temps and very slick roads. I'm very impressed with how well the awd system performs. I'm also pleased with the performance of the factory Continentals. They were great in the wet snow a few weeks ago...
Has anyone installed those in your Mav? If so, I wonder if the amber signals are too bright. I'm asking because I put a similar product, from the same company, into my F150 and they burned my retinas (see Kramer getting bent backward from the Kenny Rogers Roasters sign). I removed them and...
That's misleading on the part of the company. Hopefully, in the future they will distinguish signature lighting from DRLs. Also note that all trims have LED high beam and low beam headlights. Good for you that I'm sure someone will take them. What is a reasonable price to you?
I'm in north Iowa, so I would be interested in that if it's near the quad cities. I'm thinking it will have to be next spring, but I don't know what kind of event it will be, since I've never been in a car club.
