If it were Hybrid, I wouldn't even be questioning the purchase. Mine is the AWD ECB but most of my 90 mile daily commute is HWY so the Hybrid didn't appeal to me when gas was $2 per gallon. At $5-6 per gallon....I dunno.
Just curious if all the turmoil around the war, our economy and record high gas prices are causing anyone else to question their Maverick purchase? I recently received notification that my HPR Lariat Lux w/ FX4 was scheduled for build on April 25th. I think most of us agree the Mav is a bargain...

Any experience on the cost of auto insurance for those whom have taken delivery? I’m curious to see if all the safety features on the Lariat model help to reduce insurance cost? Anyone have a VIN their willing to let me borrow to check? lol. New vehicle so my insurance company can’t really get...
Yeah I think I just need to get quit beating myself up over ordering a 36k truck advertised for 22k. Even loaded at 36k, it’s a deal. And it’s precisely what I want in a vehicle and has more safety and tech features than some vehicles that cost 60k.
Yeah I suspect it’ll improve the quality of my commute immensely. I’ve been making the same commute for 15 years and the older I get, the more it wears on me. Only 10 more left and I can retire…so hopefully the Mav will take me through the end of this career into retirement.
Considering the debt situation in this country, I would say yes, most people just trade, roll in negative equity and extend the payment without a care in their mind. I am in the same situation as you, slightly younger. I buy/trade often but with used, clean vehicles (current ride is 04 Lexus...
That’s basically my first order. XLT Lux with sunroof and i was already at 31. I figured for 5k more I could get the pleather, copper accents which I really like, the fancy windshield, slightly upgraded stereo, power rear window, and most importantly…all the added lane centering and adaptive...
I personally anticipated waiting a few years and snagging a used one because I hate buying new....but in this market, I really wouldn't be surprised if Ford increases the MSRP and/or dealers continue to jack the price up. At their price point and the current market, I really don't see room for...
In a world full of easily offended humans, don't apologize. Clearly you aren't looking to steal SS#'s, just another excited Mav owner.
36. Law Enforcement. Was not looking for anything when I ordered....just realized there may be some opportunity to snag an awesome new vehicle, for an...
I completely agree. Loaded with every option is still the starting price of most other models. I wonder if Ford used the low entry level price to get everyone's attention into a brand new segment of vehicle but will increase the price as popularity and demand continue to grow.
