It would work if it was lifted high enough (on a tall antenna) but then you have resolution limitations as the system would need to digitally crop in significantly. Wide angle lenses work best when they are as close to the object you're trying to see. I.e. dash cameras can't even read license...

A wide angle array on the roof wouldn't allow you to see much of the sides or front of the vehicle. You would be limited to horizon.

You had time to intervene and the system let you with a friendly warning. I think it only applies brakes when it determines your distance and speed are outpacing your possible reaction time.

Kia messed up with the shorter bed. Maverick is still viable for motorcycle duty.

Drove truck, parked, locked it, came back in AM, unlocked and 12v battery was dead. No power on ignition until I used a jumper pack. Charge battery on tender and drive the truck as normal without issue for weeks until it happens again randomly.

It would be easy to wire up a second battery in parallel on the other (open under seat) side :p.
