Ordered mine June 2021, and took delivery almost exactly six months later right before Xmas. I would have gone with the Hybrid, but not being able to get it with AWD was a dealbreaker for me. I'm driving up to the Whites every weekend, and AWD is a must-have for me.
Yup! Every Sunday when I'm at the car wash and grocery store, I never fail to get stopped. And it's almost always older guys (like in their 60s/70s) who remark "you know...I used to have a truck that size years ago!"
The Cactus Grey seems to draw a lot of attention as well.
No decrease in MPGs whatsoever. The most noticeable thing is the extra wind noise, but again, you really only hear that if you have the sunroof or windows open.
Got the Yakima Roof Rack/Crossbar System and Retractable Awning installed on the Mav the other day. Can't wait to try this out at the trailheads this summer!
Setting up the awning is definitely a two-person job. Nothing complicated, but it's pretty cumbersome.
Aesthetically, I really like...
Got mine and installed it yesterday. Perfect fit.
Just a heads up that the iOttie holder I bought (Easy One Touch 5) is not compatible with this. The vent clip itself is too large for the squares.
It's not necessarily just the length of the blade, but
Which blades did you end up going with? I like the Boschs also, but if they won't fit, that's too bad.
Does anyone know what size/model wiper blade refills fit the Maverick?
Hit two auto parts stores in town yesterday, and neither of them had wiper info for the Mav in their system. I found one post previously on the forums about this, and it looks like someone was able to determine the Ford...
Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the double horn chirp that occurs when you exit the truck and it's still running?
I assume it detects that the key is no longer in the truck, and that's why the horn sounds.
Personally, I find it to be annoying and useless, but I can't seem to...
Nice! I'm in NH and happy to report I haven't had any issue with my Mav starting up after the bitter cold we've had. Hopefully your experience was just a one-off.
Vent the sunroof, and crack the sliding rear window.
Literally drove home from the mountains on the highway like that on Saturday. Dash said air temp was around 10 degrees the whole time lol.
For me, yes. I like nice things, and to be able to option it out with the Lariat Lux and still be around $36k, it was a no brainer.
The seats are very comfortable, the moonroof/sliding rear window combo is pretty awesome. Just vent the moonroof, crack the rear window, and you get some nice...
I've had mine for going on 3 weeks now, and over the weekend just finally saw the only other one I've seen in the state of NH (parked at the same hiking trailhead that I was at...go figure).
I've had so many random conversations in grocery store parking lots, it's been kinda awesome. People...
Completely agree on the seating position. The Mav really is a very comfortable ride. Also getting 28-29mpg with mostly highway driving. Very happy about that.
I ordered mine from Townsend Ford in Townsend, MA. Took delivery two weeks ago, not a penny above what was quoted me when I ordered back in June.
Super easy process, and the people I dealt with were all excellent. No problem getting what I wanted for trade-in on my Outback either. Highly...
