Yes, I don't understand what they were trying to do with that front end, but it does look awful. I can't decide if the vertical lights look like eyes or nostrils. I think it would look a lot better if the vertical lights were integrated into the horizontal bar.
I was also the week of 6-12 via email, but the tracker wasn't updated until last Friday and the tracker now says the week of 6-15. I assume that it actually means the day of 6-15 since it's a Thursday that falls under the week of 6-12. In any case we are lucky to be scheduled.
Ultimately it will be what you are comfortable with doing. I personally looked hard at getting a hybrid and towing a ~1500 lbs dry weight camper. But when I started adding up people and gear, what I really started running up against was the GCWR max of 6010 lbs. With the 3674 lbs vehicle...
I wish they would change their system to keep customers informed, but I have my doubts. For me that has been the biggest issue - lack of information. I know there are part shortages, but I think Ford has a better handle on it this year, but they still don't provide information. They are...
The good thing is you have lots of choices. I don't have my Mav yet, but I'm planning on putting on a DiamondBack when I get it. There are some members on here that already have them and have posted pictures. For me the DiamondBack is probably the most secure, most leak resistant, and will...
Based on my experience I agree. The only value I ever received from a dealer was before the internet they could locate a vehicle I wanted at another dealer. Now I tell them what dealer has the vehicle I want or I just go to that other dealer. I have never met a salesperson that knows more...
That's the same cover I'm planning on getting. I'm also looking at mounting t-slot rails to it to be able to mount cross bars when needed. If there are any tips or tricks for installing the Diamondback please pass them along.
I would be shocked if Ford started building Mavs in another plant. As others have stated there's a huge cost factor. It looks like Bronco Sport production is caught up with demand. I expect most of the new 3rd shift will go toward Mav production.

Both surprised that it's finally scheduled and surprised that it took this long for an EB. My dealer has claimed that the...
My dealer has told me that allocations aren't an issue, yet my EB remains unscheduled. If I don't get scheduled for June, I too will need to consider other options.
The EBs were supposed to be high build capacity with low order numbers, yet here we are hoping that we can get scheduled in June - 9 months after ordering.
I personally think it should be offered on all trims, fleet or not. The camera requires someone to actively be watching while the sensors don't. I think sensors are a better safety feature than the camera for that reason. Of course having both is the best situation, but you shouldn't have to...
The EV transition will be interesting, but I don't think anyone really knows where it will end up in 20-30 years. There's such a huge push right now that companies are dumping a lot of money into it without really knowing the return. I personally think that EVs will become the primary...
