I did all that with my install, which went flawlessly, it grabbed hold like it should, lined up and solid.... until it fell off two weeks later. And my attempt to reinstall it stripped the bolt. I actually went to HD and picked up a replacement bolt, but having repaired one scratch caused by the...
I've had my Mav about two months now, and in all that time I've been bothered by the braking, which has been nowhere near as effortlessly unnoticeable as I'm accustomed to in my work CMAX. Every single time I stopped, whether in traffic or utterly alone on the road with no one near me, the last...
I had that same experience, right down to trying to reinstall it and stripping the cheap ass screw. I reached out to dee zee for replacement bolt and they completely ignored me. Having had it slip off once and scratch the tailgate paint, I just wasn't willing to try it again. I took it off, will...
I'm still waiting for Ford to offer the one that has access panels for the oil filter and plug, so you don't have to take that whole plate off just to do an oil change.
I've been trying to order this same OEM paint pen for my Mav for over a month now, everywhere including Ford shows out of stock/backordered. I just looked up the OP's, there's plenty in that color, but the HPR is still unavailable? Weird....
I still only rarely see them and my work has me travelling around 11 different counties all the time. I've yet to park right next to one anywhere, closest I got was spotting one across a crowded parking lot a week or so ago.
Third or fourth or whatever (I lost count) for the Ryobi handheld, the one that is about drill sized. Super easy to use, mine replaced one of those older small plug in varieties.
I got different answers on this from several different dealers back when I was first interviewing them for ordering. In the end I just went with the drop in, which was covered by points. I gathered it kinda' depended on whether or not the dealership themselves guaranteed the work or their sub...
I've experienced this twice now, both times in exact same scenario: I start up a cold truck, drive maybe two blocks and get stopped at a light, and while waiting for light to change, I get that odd surging. Light changes and I go about my business and it doesn't happen again anywhere on my...
This is one of those things where it pays to have a really trusted neighborhood mechanic. No way in hell I'm taking my car to the dealer for an oil change, and I'm way past the age of crawling under to do it myself. (Plus my neighborhood guy is awesome and his business has a terrific name...
Just as a data point, I did the update yesterday, when it completed both the download and the install, I shut the truck down and left it. When I started it up this morning, I immediately got an audible "Update Complete" on my system. So all good, it didn't require a full reset or anything like...
I'm sitting in my driveway right now, download done, install nearly finished, first real update on my Mav, whole process maybe 15 minutes. I have gig speed internet, practically on top of it.
Just fyi, I'll add that lots of leaf blower brands offer a "stubby" attachment for this very purpose, shortens the neck of the blower, makes it easier to handle around the vehicle, in the bed, etc.
Messages won't keep reminding me of a text, as in dinging at me every minute or so for a prescribed period of time, like Textra does. That's the primary thing that keeps me at Textra. I'm often busy with my phone in my pocket and like the extra dings.
