Might be more problems but what are the chances of a car from the 1970's making it to 200,000+ miles? Probably next to none and you'd be lucky to see 100k. Nowadays most any new car on the road can easily make it there.
My dog would have the inside trashed in probably three minutes. He loves climbing up and looking out the windows and barking and going crazy when something catches his attention.
It's worth the $11/month to me to not have to listen to the almost continuous commercials on OTA radio, which by the way, have a playlist of around 50 or so songs and far fewer choices.
Yes, there are summer blends and winter blends. I think the winter blend has more ethanol mixed in which will decrease your MPG. I'm sure there are other factors as well, but my winter mileage has always dropped on every car I've owned.
Actually yes I did and they kept me up to date on the repair (bad power inverter) on almost a daily basis. They knew I had the Maverick in for the repair by reading my post on this forum and sent a message asking for my contact information. They also let me know they had engineers working on the...
I've left my 22 sitting in an airport a couple of times for up to two weeks with no issues and the only real problems I've had was the power inverter and getting it repaired correctly. Maybe I'm just lucky or maybe Ford just did a decent job of putting mine together. Otherwise it does get driven...
Wish I would have known about that when my son had his almost new Jeep rearended. Insurance woudn't total it because the cost didn't exceed what it was worth. Repairs ended up being over $25k. I think he paid slightly more than $30k for it. Afterwards power steering box kept going out, obviously...
This happened when I was rear-ended in a Kia Forte. The seat ended up twisted and it took forever to get insurance to cover it. The adjuster had no clue that the seats were designed to collapse in a rear end crash.
Deer hits are comprehensive. As to whether or not they believe a deer ran into the back of your Maverick, that's a different story.
I hit a deer, it took out three side panels and came around and dented the rear bumper. They paid for everything except for the rear bumper. They didn't believe a...
I just had mine fixed. It ended up being one of the power inverters. There's three of them. The rear one was bad. The dealer replaced the front one first and that didn't solve the problem. They ended up swapping out a couple of the inverters with known good ones from another Maverick. Problem...
Mine is at the dealer now. They replaced the inverter, checked the connector under the bed, replaced the battery and now they're waiting on a return call from Ford Engineering to see if they have any ideas on how to get it working. At least I have a loaner to drive while they're trying to figure...
The outlet on the back of the console has been flashing the yellow fault light for a while. I finally took it in and the dealer is going to replace the power inverter.
My son is thinking of buying a Maverick and wants to be able to tow it. He's thinking about using a car dolly that the front wheels rest on. Good idea? Bad idea?
Does anyone really need 8 drinkholders in their Maverick? Especially the driver, it's hard to drive when you're using the steering wheel and putting two drinks away, although I suppose you could use the adaptive cruise control if you take your drinking that seriously.
