Assembly line work(or factory work period) is not for everyone, not then and not now. back in the early years of Ford's transition to a moving assembly line Ford main manufacturing plant (Highland Hts.) needed some 15,000 people to operate, yet the employee turnover was so severe that Ford had...
just curious but what drove your decision to switch from soft rollup to hard? more secure storage perhaps? i have the Ford OEM soft rollup by the way and do like it.
one of the things i really love about the Alto Blue is how it seems to 'color shift' in different lighting conditions, also the often maligned Mav paint job seems to have a very pleasing depth and old school metal flake effect up close when viewed under bright sunlight that i really like.
Congrats! you have the EXACT truck i wanted but i couldnt wait any more a bought a abandoned 23 Lariat Hybrid order off the lot with no roof and then got a MY24 order put in with all the stuff on my wish list but sadly Alto Blue is no more and thats a big bummer. i hope you enjoy yours as much...
@Superdog3657 what a small world. i have purchased my vehicles from Auto Nation Ford Westlake since they were John Lance Ford, including this Mav. but Nick A. Ford is much closer to where i reside so thats where i usually go for service. Both run class operations IMHO and i would recommend...
Our beloved little truck is in high demand and insufficient supply since its launch, yet since ive started hanging out here on the MTC i have seen posts from Mav owners in such far flung locales as Chile S.A. and the UK and who knows where else. so where are you and how did you get your truck...
i agree with most of your post however i believe that the massive demand for a <$25k BHEV whether truck/cuv or car would sell in massive #'s. the question is can you find a way to make $$ doing it in today's market. if i were Ford(i know how presumptuous that sounds) i would narrow the...
i 100% agree with the idea of a true luxury compact pickup truck. if i were in the room when Ford decides whats next for the Maverick i'd advocate vociferously for a no holds barred VERY high end version. think F150 King Ranch 4x4 Lariat (which can sticker for $70k or more )in a Maverick body...
my experience with the Sync3 in my 23 Hybrid Lariat upon receipt of a text message presents a screen on the main display with 3 choices: read; listen and ignore.no voice prompts so far. i've only had Mabel the Maverick since late April so i still have a lot to learn myself. the is the 1st...
welcome to the club Suerdog3657 ! i get almost 100% of my wifes Navigator & my 23 Lariat hybrid service needs done at Nick Abraham Ford for many years now and have nothing but great things to say about them.
it should be noted any 'thing' for sale is only worth as much as someone s willing to pay for it. people asked for this feature and now we'll see if Ford has approriately priced it or not.
no offense but i couldnt disagree more. have you ever met anybody that could reach the manual rear sliding window? gotta have the power slider unless you want the most 'plain Jane' truck possible and thats certainly your choice to make.
Thanks for the clariftaction!! i believe this and other decisions are all reflective of Ford deciding to ramp up production from their existing production line in Mexico as much as possible B4 creating another production line elsewhere. the switch to a wireless secricode keypad actually makes...
does that mean if my '24 order has factory remote start then i cant get the keyless entry keypad? or across all trim levels. we said we wanted it back & that we were willing to pay for it (about 75% pro last time i checked) . for the folks that feel that strongly in favor of the keypad here...
i suppose a DIBL is better than nothing but its inevitable that some water will pool under it and increase the chances for rust and corrosion damage. i much prefer the SIBL but thats just me. to each their own as they say.
