yep!! Wifey drives a '16 Gator and my Mav seats heat up faster and get hotter than hers do to my amazement. of course she does have the air conditioned seats which is really cool (couldnt help the pun there, sorry) feature to have on those few really hot days we get in Northeast Ohio most summers
so sad but so typical. it's a shame really because Dealer's could/should be a competitive advantage for Ford and other OEM's if only they could get their act together.
i have been buying vehicles from the same dealership for around 30yrs. i reached out to them to find me a Mav and in 3wks i was offered 2 different ones for MSRP minus my A-plan discount. the 1st was a XLT which sold 10 min B4 i could get there. the 2nd was a Alto Blue Lariat which i purchased...
i honestly was not thinking EB vs Hybrids with this thread.
i was trying to spark a conversation about why i felt Hybrids writ large could/should be a larger piece of America's transition to a primarily electric vehicle fleet.
my other point was that even after that transition there will be...

perhaps my post didnt convey what i was trying to say very well for you, my apologies if you took it that way.
my point was now that America has begun what i think we both can agree is a huge push to reduce both fossil fuel dependency & tailpipe emissions...
thank you for your reasoned response. i too am here to talk about Maverick truck stuff, politics is not what i come here for.
you make several good points disagreeing with me while seeming to acknowledging my basic premise that Hybrids make more sense right now as we transition to that utopian...
i think most of us agree that the goal is/ should be to reduce Fossil Fuel dependency/emissions by as much as possible as soon as possible right? and i think it must be done sooner, not later . but that shouldnt mean destroying civilization as we know it.
i believe that Hybrids such as our...
from what i understand oil 'degrades' over time regardless of mileage, so even if youre a very low mileage p/yr driver there is a point at which your oil should still be changed out.
