  4. Buschur's video of horrible factory Maverick exhaust design. Improvements to be gained opening system up

The FWD is not going to be the same I don't think. We will need to get one in here.
  5. Buschur's video of horrible factory Maverick exhaust design. Improvements to be gained opening system up

Yes, there is a lot of room, even in 3" it won't be lower than it is now.
  6. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

Oil separators are done! The way the factory system sucks unfiltered oil/vapors directly from the valve cover and into the intake tract. This is HORRIBLE. I expected a PCV in line, there is nothing. So the key is to simply keep this oil out of the intake and even more importantly the...
  7. Buschur's video of horrible factory Maverick exhaust design. Improvements to be gained opening system up

Wow, this is the exhaust on the new Maverick truck we are building. Crazy! Not a single flange or joint in 12' of tubing and three "mufflers". Truck has a single cat in the very short downpipe right after the turbo. Going to be some great improvements opening this system up, tubing is only...
  8. Oil separator for 2.0?

We are a manufacturer, so we will build the cans for the truck. Hoping to start on that today. Just waiting on a bay.

  12. Buschur's FX4 and some tire/wheel well measurements

Morning! Well we are underway on this truck build and getting some initial measurements, figured I'd share them. My truck came with the Pirelli Scorpion tires, 225-65-17s. Taking a look at the truck this morning to get an idea of what may fit, here are some measurements. The Scorpion...
  13. Buschur's got a 2022 Maverick! 2.0 Dyno Results / Numbers, MPG, and Review!

The cornering of this truck is EXCELLENT, it's more car like than truck for sure.
  14. Buschur's got a 2022 Maverick! 2.0 Dyno Results / Numbers, MPG, and Review!

That's an outstanding point actually. My uncle was the head electrical engineer for Kentucky truck in Louisville. I went and toured the plant with him, they had a line of new F150's EB's waiting to go on the dyno there, ROWS of dyno's. They dyno'd ever XX truck to verify all was well as they...
  15. Buschur's got a 2022 Maverick! 2.0 Dyno Results / Numbers, MPG, and Review!

Trash an engine? LOL. I've been building engines/cars for 32 years now, we build them here, once they are started, verified there are no leaks, the cars are loaded directly onto the dyno and ran at full boost/max RPM within 5 miles of being built. So in many cases, like last week, 9500 rpm...
  16. Buschur's got a 2022 Maverick! 2.0 Dyno Results / Numbers, MPG, and Review!

They do have an 8 speed. Typically you dyno in the 1:1 gear, this truck has no manual setting to lock the trans into a gear (not that I found anyway) so it was easiest to dyno based on MPH and run it 1-4. It also made for seeing why it feels so good when you first hit it, the torque converter...
  17. Buschur's got a 2022 Maverick! 2.0 Dyno Results / Numbers, MPG, and Review!

The truck is all time AWD, our dyno is also Mustang 500, so the front and rear rollers are linked, I have to un-couple the rollers to use the dyno just as RWD/FWD.
  18. Buschur's got a 2022 Maverick! 2.0 Dyno Results / Numbers, MPG, and Review!

We have snow here, I also like to offroad and this build is for overlanding and pulling a trailer I built to haul my side by side on. So the AWD was the best option.
