Ford should make this clear. Lot's of confusion on what price should be. Do orders placed before the price increase have price protection? (Which is pretty much every order) Or does the price increase affect every Ford Maverick that was not built before 1 Feb 2023. Including those 22MY that...
According to the tracker I've been in production since the 7th of February. Was scheduled to be built 13 February. Last time the tracker updated my status was 7 February. I don't know what is going on. No one at Ford can tell me. Ford doesn't send me emails. I asked my salesman if he...
I don't know which is correct. I wish someone could tell me. Am I protected from my time of VIN rollover reorder (Nov 14 2022) or is Ford allowed to raise the price on me after I order? The special offer was made because of the price increase from my initial order. Should have nothing to do...
Just got my window sticker. It shows a $400 increase in base price and a $100 increase in delivery charge. Dealer says Ford is not offering price protection any more and that is why they offered the $2750 special offer for the 2022s with VIN that were converted to 2023 model year. But...
Same issue with mine. Tracker just updated on 28 Jan with my production week of 16 Feb (which I already knew) but still has the XL and 300A and 500A packages. Jesus, how hard is it to run a database?
Ford Tracking Website shows my XLT as an XL but with equipment packages 300A(XLT) and 500A(Lariat). I have a scheduled date of 23 Feb, but it doesn't show on the Tracker. Also says last updated 12 Jan 2023. Ford has problems.
Still waiting for a new VIN for my Hybrid XLT order placed on 8 October 2021, scheduled, then delayed and finally cancelled and converted to a 2023. My wife will need a new car in a few years. Probably get an EV. The way this has gone we are sure enough not going to order a Ford.
Thanks for all the replies. I have a better understanding now. Feel a little better. Even with my hybrid and tow hitch constraints I should get scheduled.
