Guess an update is due ...
I nixed the Maverick order for a hybrid and bought an AWD EB Lariate off a dealer's lot in South Jersey (August 2023). I was torn between the hybrid and EB. The reality is that I do not drive all that much ... maybe 5,000-7,500 miles or so a year. A hybrid would not...
I am a 60-year old Maverick owner. I purchased my Lariat EB AWD, fully loaded, on August 19, 2023 from dealer inventory. I paid a premium over MSRP, but it was the vehicle I wanted and I got the dealer to come down about half the mark-up as it had been on the lot for 1-2 months. No mechanical...
Once the insurance company totals a car, it owns it - payment for the loss transfers the title to the insurance company as part of the claim process.
The insurance company technically could demand that the original owner return parts taken off the vehicle. Whether it does that or not is...
Actually, the way OP's insurance company is handling the claim sounds appropriate. I would venture to say OP's insurance company is paying as a "collision" claim ... Collision coverage protects the owner of the vehicle ... the loss is paid regardless of fault. The insurance company will then...
Except for the one noted at the end of this post, I have yet to complete any projects on my Mav. I bought it a couple of months ago, so have been reviewing ideas on MTC and YouTube videos. Now that Christmas is around the corner, my Santa list consists of 100% Maverick items. Not sure how well...
I concur with Carny2411.
It sounds like you may be trying to access the iPhone apps via Bluetooth. If that assumption is correct, the Maverick entertainment system does not support wireless Car Play; it has to be plugged in via USB/lightning cord.
You can buy a Car Play adapter that plugs into...
I bought my EB Lariat from a dealer’s inventory (the only one in stock). The order included a Ford hard roll-up cover for the bed (an option that was on the window sticker). While the cover is strong enough to lay items on top of it and it rolls up with no issues, I would not purchase this cover...
Looks like you have a hybrid. Congratulations on the excellent performance.
I drive an AWD EB. Most of my driving is local, but I do try to be light on the gas, no hard acceleration, and stay under 70 when the few times I have been on the freeway. My mileage has ranged from around 21-28 mpg ...
2023 EB Lariat purchased 8/21/2023 with 1,522 miles.
I work from home, so most of my driving is on weekends and primarily local/short trips. I have not encountered any issues with the battery or any other mechanical aspect of the Maverick.
Note that over half the miles on the Maverick were...
I have a similar opinion as you ... I like BAP overall, except the black rims is too much black. I personally would be happy with BAP with the rims that come with the Lariat trim.
I agree with several posts that basically state it is up to each individual to decide on needs and preferences in a vehicle. Current owners can share their experiences with a Maverick (or any vehicle for that matter).
I am a 60 year old male. In August 2023, I bought a fully-loaded EB AWD...
In 2018, I bought a used 2017 Ridgeline from a local Honda dealer in NJ. Drove it for a couple of years, then one day was pulled over by the local police. They told me my front side windows are illegally tinted. I had no clue as this is how the vehicle was sold to me by the dealer. The police...
Not an expert, but I think Tremor is raised by an inch or so for off-roading purposes, so there would be more drag underneath the vehicle at higher speeds.
Update - finally got the felt and the snap-on clips (for holding in place when rolled up) replaced by the dealer under warranty. I am going to try and fix the gaps in the tailgate. If unable to do satisfactorily or if the felt gives further problems, then I will just buy a tri-fold cover, which...
