I would recomend you add the FX4 package if you in fact will be using the AWD much. I have the Tremor which is great and I love it but it's gotten a little pricey from back when I ordered mine. The FX4 only adds about $800 and the underneath skid plates are well worth it.
USAA full coverage for 23 Maverick XLT Tremor ---$500 deductible for collision $100 for comprehensive---safe driver/ multi car/ low mileage discounts---$870/year
Got Ford OEM flaps on Amazon for about half what Ford cost while my Tremor was in transit and put them on at day one. Live on 1/2 mile of gravel driveway and they are essential. Maybe not necessary if you live an urban area and never go off pavement but otherwise they are the best investment...
I hear you but I keep hoping-awhile back there was a thread about installing a bull bar but it sounded jury rigged and sounded like it would be even more difficult on my Tremor!
Keep hoping someone will come up with a decent brush guard as I live in the MO Ozarks which means its not IF you hit a deer but WHEN. I have brush guards on all my vehicles except the Maverick so I don't drive it after dark until the after market world catches up with the Maverick. I would...
Over the years I've had rhino factory and drop ins. For my Tremor I went with the Line-x and am impressed with the application the appearance and the protection. If you can get the Line-x near the same price point as rhino its a much better deal with a better liner. The rhino application is...
My first impression was OMG-what next? After resisting owning anything non-manual for decades as I aged I finally gave in and bought my first automatic. After a couple years I came to the conclusion that they are actually better at deciding what gear I should be in than I was. After almost...
Currently getting 28+ on my Tremor which is mostly rural 2 lane roads and around town with a half mile gravel driveway. Not a lot of city driving. I have 2850 miles on mine with an overall 27.2 MPG since new. I would bet the difference in mileage between a tremor and an AWD under normal...
This is the first time anyone has finally come up with a possible product! I've been looking since I ordered my Maverick almost two years ago and took delivery last Dec. Apparently its a problem installing with the Tremor package-which sucks as one would think those of us with a Tremor might...
Unfortunately you had a crappy line-x dealer. My dealer removed everything and replaced after the liner was sprayed in. Way more professional that my previous experience with Rhino in previous trucks. I was more than impressed with their attention to detail.
Hybrid is not a choice if you live rural and need AWD. FX/Tremor is a personal choice but if you plan on a lot of towing then Tremor has limitations. I have a Tremor and like it better every time I drive it and while it will never be "off road" I like the options it gives me and with everyday...
Your not even close-I'm 84 drove my Tremor home last day of Dec. Figure this is probably the last new vehicle I will buy-- but then again thats what I said when I bought my 2012 F250 Lariat or my 2015 F250 6.7 or my 2019 Ranger! Maverick is the perfect truck for old guys-easy to drive easy to...
Octane isn't the question with me-its whether or not you can get lower octane ethanal free gas. Where I live the only ethanol free I can get is 92 octane and I plan on having my Maverick for a long time so for me the extra expense of the higher octane is an investment in longer life.
