But I agree with your other points. Also the paint quality is suspect, I got a paint chip in the hood literally within the first 10 minutes of driving it off the lot.
You have to enter "Engineering Mode". You can do a search but the gist of it is, hold down the OK button when starting the Mav, turn the key 2 clicks (not all the way to start), then there's a hidden menu that comes up that allows you to adjust the mileage calculation.
My first tank gave a computer indicated 47, but hand calculated was only 44. Any downsides on using the engineering mode to calibrate the fuel economy display? Doing a search here yields some discussion on the topic, but not much.
Yes, that's fine, there's lots of demand. SO DON'T TAKE WAY MORE ORDERS THAN YOU CAN PRODUCE. Shut down the order portal, then reopen it later if you have more capacity.
For those crying "FAKE NEWS" how do you reconcile that with the recall appearing on the official Ford recall checker when entering a VIN? As one who just took delivery of my hybrid last week I'd love for it to be fake, but I don't see how an illegitimate recall makes it onto ford.com.
