  1. New Logo Bone-Head Award

First Ford logos I recall. And the second one is the one I remember the most. I consider myself a GM person but I grew up around an 8N Ford. My grandaddy's was the first. After seeing what a workhorse it was, I got one for some property I owned. Easy to work on and you could find parts at NAPA...
  2. Anyone received their truck prior to estimated delivery

The tracker will drive you crazy. Dates bounced around a lot for me. But yes mine was early compared to both times given to me. Twenty days early from last quote, ten days early from the one before that if I remember correctly. Got so many dates hard to keep up.
  3. Dirtbike hauler

Think an Electra Glide will fit in it?
  4. Recent Spray In Bed Liner Quotes?

I've had drop in, spray in, mats and nothing. By far spray in, and it was Line X was or is my favorite. Local store the lady that ran it said she would honor the warranty even though I bought my last truck used with Line X in it. That sold me and it was tuff as hell. Several Mavericks had the...
  5. Too many miles on my brand new 2025 Ford Maverick?!?!!

I bought a new Camaro with 10 miles on it. Dealer said he would deliver it. Georgia to Middle Tennessee. He lead me to believe it would be on a roll back. I told him I could make arrangements to pick it up myself if not. He assured me he could get it there fine. I'd signed the paperwork and all...
  6. Easiest way to remote start Truck (alternative to App)

OP, I read all of the post but I don't think I saw anyone say this or mention this and maybe you already know. But remote starts through the app or fobs to my knowledge are only good two consecutive times. Then you must start it normally to reset for remote start. Why this is true I have no...
  7. Does the front plate bracket get factory installed?

Man I feel sorry for you folks. Looks like they used a screw gun with a nut driver and license plate screw to drill the holes. Versus a 1/8 th drill bit in the dimples to pre drill then screwing it in. Or they stuck the bracket up there screwed into the first dimple and blind drove the last...
  8. New Member, 2022 Ford Maverick

Be happy and enjoy. You got the go fast color. Very nice.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I appreciate it.
  10. Do you get comments on the street about your Maverick?

Nah, I'm old and gray with long hair and tattoos. People avoid me.
  11. Maverick TV Ads

Nada, haven't seen any. Plenty of F-150 commercials. I do recall seeing them for like 3.9% and XLT Hybrid. Which I didn't know was an F-150 trim level also. Hey I been driving GM stuff for the last 17 years.
  12. For the Kids

My best friend has a Cuda like that with a 318 in it. His next project car. He also has a chopped Bel Air painted Air Force green he does car shows with. He bought the Cuda just because it had the 318 in it. He had one(318) in the floor of his shop we pulled out of his mamas "66 Valium about...
  13. Fuel fill-up question

I read or was told it cost more money to fill up your tank to soon. Just by wasting gas to stop at a gas station more frequently. I typically run to about a quarter tank. Sure I top off if I'm going to run 500 miles or similar before starting out. The Harleys are a little different. About 130...
  14. For the Kids

This was my first car. 1974 Mustang II. Only difference in this photo is the hub caps. Color and what I can see of the interior color looks the same. Had 54,000 miles on it and looked brand new and it had AC. Never smoked or leaked, but did use about a half quart of oil per week. It was 1979...
  15. The Needle Moved... In Production

My dates bounced around a bit. Anyway 1/15/25 in production. At that time I could get the window sticker. No modules. I checked again, as I did daily multiple times about 1/22/25 modules had popped. Then in production day changed to 1/23/25. And the built date was also 1/23/25. Shipped 1/24/25...
  16. ITS ALIVE......

Wanted to say that when the modules popped. Also when I got the window sticker. 2025 XLT Maverick AWD, Hybrid, BAP, 4K Tow, Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, Floor liners without carpet, Soft folding Tonneau cover. Spray in bed liner And some 360 upgrade because I added 4K. The tracked indicated I...
  17. More Delays...

The first "In Production" date. I believe 1/15/25 was the first date also when the window sticker became available. About 1/22/25 the modules popped. 1/23/25 "in Production" again. Then 1/23/25 "Built" the same day. I was off one day on my above statement, 1/24/25 it shipped. Delivered to...
  18. More Delays...

I know people waited long amounts of time in the past for Maverick orders. Must have lucked out myself as my wait was about 3.5 months. 10/16/24 order 2/4/25 delivery. Finalized, or drove it home 2/7/25 after dealer did whatever it is they do. During the whole process dates seemed to bounce...
  19. More Delays...

Not to beat you down or give you hope but don't trust the tracker. My XLT Hybrid was ordered in October. Took 3 and a half months to get here. I feel fortunate I got it then considering other folks have waited way, way longer than myself. I checked the tracker probably multiple times a day. The...
  20. Soft Tonneau Top Cleaner and UV protectant, suggestions....

So my truck got here late last week and I picked it up 2/7/25. Got it home and yesterday put a good wax job on it before I put many miles in and got it dirty. 70 degrees in February, crazy right. But that's Middle Tennessee for ya. Anyway, on my Silverado I used ProtectAll. Mustang recommended...
