Got 2 XL hybrids. Ordered Sept. 16 of last year. Got them about 10 days apart back in middle of sept. One has 4k miles the other has 2k miles. Zero issues. The one with 4k is driven by my 20 year old son. He goes back-woods dear hunting, gravel roads, etc. No problems. Socal trucks.

Notice how the official FORD people on this site have yet to chime in on this one? Issues like this are cancer to them and they want nothing of it. They're happy to help with "mud flaps" or "why didn't I get a full size spare?" kinds of issues. But this? No way.

I think the hybrid battery is too small and weak. There is plenty of time to charge it when driving and braking, so a bigger battery would hold more juice and allow the driver to get up to speed from stops without having to drive like an old lady and piss off those behind you. More zip from a...

get a little dremel type tool and grind it away carefully. I dont think gas will work. I've had lots of gas spills in my f250 spray in liner and it did nothing. actually cleaned it up nicely.

If toyota made a super duty when I bought my 250 in 2017, I would have bought it. Same for a hybrid compact truck. I have 2 XL hybrids I got about a month ago. But with Toyoda, you all know it will be superior.

I’ve been spying that cover on Amazon. It looks like there are 3 clips underneath per side. Do you need to undo 4 clips to flip the 2 sections? The top on my F250 just has the clips you need to unlatch by the tailgate then it flips twice. The clips near the glass never get undone. Thanks. MS

Take off the "Brake Coach." It's annoying. Reset the seatbelt chime so it goes away. You'll learn to use the throttle to stay in electric. I use the STAR logo to show when I'm in gas or electric. Short learning curve. Enjoy.
