I'm thinking this was the dealers plan with the OP. The dealer knows they're not supposed to mark up the special orders via Ford. So they call the OP, tell him there's a mark up, gets him to cancel order and now they have a truck for the lot that CAN be marked up. If the OP were to raise a stink...

It's your truck, display what you want. If you truly believe in it then nothing anyone will say will sway you from it. But free speech goes both ways and someone may disagree with you. That's part of the issues with flying your beliefs publicly.

My daughter has a '20 Escape that I bought a set of Focal 20 wheels and snow tires from Tire rack. I brought one over seeing if I could run the same on my Mav and it hit the f caliper. As I said, a different backspace could work.

There MAY be a 16" wheel out there with the offset to clear the caliper but unless you have one to test fit, I did, I wouldn't roll the dice on any wheel less than 17" in diameter.
