I'm sure it is just not sure at what point this effects the power to the port. Meaning if the state of charge is high does it stay on until you open the door and if it's low it would go off quicker? I have my doubts on the latter, because I'm pretty certain it killed the battery.
I do to actually, I just got used to this shutting off when I exited the truck. My old truck had one 12v port that was hot all the time and another that went off with the key.
I only have one port in this truck and with the battery issues I'm hesitant to leave anything on for long.
I've only had the recall done related to the turn signals and that was shortly after I got the truck last October. Nothing done since, although I have received a recall notice related to the BCM.

I have not done any of those things above to my Maverick. The only changes I've made are the tonneau cover and spray in bed liner; and I don't think they could cause any issues. :) I just got my truck in Oct of '23 and only it has only 1300 miles. The Tech from Ford seems to think these issues...
I'm hopeful this will fix the issue. Interesting this battery is 470 CCA and the original battery was 390. Not that I expect it makes much difference for the hybrid.
I have an old style charger that I had loaned to my neighbor and was not able to try it yesterday.
However Ford mobile service came out this morning and took the battery back to the dealership for testing. They called about an hour later to say the battery was defective and would be bringing...
I got my first deep sleep notification in the Ford Pass app last night, Because of all the threads about the issue I wasn't too concerned. However this morning I went out to run an errand and the battery is completely dead! No lights or any activity getting into the truck!
I connected an...
