I notice it start somewhere near the 45-50 mph mark. Thanks for asking.
No noise, just movement, but that may be due to the acoustic windshield. Glad to hear yours has not had issue after 6 years.
Pages 96 to 98 of the Owner's Manual talks about the system, but there is no mention of...
If they are both manufactured by Bak and the Hard Tri-Fold is an aluminum frame, then it can support 400 lbs (distributed), which would be the same as the roll-up. The Tri-fold has fewer moving parts, so that is a benefit there. It would probably be more costly to replace a segment that got...
It is hard to tell at the moment. Best I can tell you is that the mirror indicators are brighter than others I have used. I can't tell you about the alerting sound since I did not encounter that situation. The cross-traffic warning was loud enough, without being annoying. I assume that the...
I actually have a programmable one I can use, but I really got used to having it on the mirror in the last car. It would be harder for me to lose the mirror than the remote. I saw a nice frameless mirror with Homelink, but I want to know if there is a power source up there I can use. I don't...
That is the first thing I looked for and there is not a bumper anywhere under the cab side of the hood. I may end up making my own.
It was a typo. Thanks for pointing it out. I have gone back and edited the original.
Great question, thanks for it. I actually would have added it under "Good" if I had thought about it. I usually listened to it at 6 (quite low, but listenable). I switched through a few stations at a higher level. It was 5 by 5 (loud and clear) and seemed to have a great range of frequency...
It is really a matter of taste. I chose the roll-up because I wanted, at least, a little visibility out the back when open. The Tri-fold will block the rear window when all the way open. However, the roll-up creates about an 8 inch space at the cab where you can only load to the bed height...
If I had to give an overall impression of the interior of the Lariat Lux I would have to give it an "Upper Middle Class". To summarize, it has a lot of bells and whistles that make it appear nicer than someone would expect. The seats appear to be well-constructed, but have a zipper down the...
I had thought about waiting for the cover until later but decided with winter approaching (we got a little snow the last 2 nights) I needed it sooner than later.
The seats were very comfortable. I do wish they were ventilated and had cooling for warner days, but other than that, I think they...
I actually put a 235/65r17 Falken Wildpeak as my spare to match the rest and it fit fine, though any ball mount I use has only about 1/2 inch of play out the back of the receiver.
235 fits just fine, that is what I have on it now in the later photos and as a spare. I have seen people fit 245s on the truck, but standard installers will not put those on for you since the size is not a Ford Option. Not sure about 245 as a spare though. Enjoy.
WARNING - WALL OF TEXT TO FOLLOW
Hello MTC! Many of you have seen me around these parts since April 9th of this year. Those who know me here would likely agree that I try to remain unbiased in my opinions about the Maverick. Even though I am now a proud owner of an Alto Blue Lariat, I will...
After 1227.7 miles, I'm ready to write a review and will do so in the next day or two in a separate thread. In the meantime, here are a few more Alto Blue photos.

If you live where it snows, you might want to consider the hard, simply for the load bearing. I think a heavy snow could be tough on the soft one. Additionally, a knife down the middle of the cover to see what is in the bed is a bit harder with the hard roll-up. Each of the individual slats...
If any did, it ran down the sides of the tailgate and out of the bed The floor of the bed stayed dry, as did the load of stuff we are toting along on this trip.
A few not so great photos during the road trip this weekend:

We're in Durango, CO at the moment and will try to post more soon. It's a little tough getting decent pictures with as busy as the parks are right now.
That cover is the hard roll-up. I wish it covered a little more down near the tailgate, but it doesn't get the bed wet where the gaps are. I had to drive through a good amount of rain this weekend with it.
