Not sure why anyone would want one when one can get the hybrid AWD now unless to save a few grand. That few grand savings would evaporate pretty fast with the difference in gas mileage to boot. Just my opinion though.

Mine kicked in on a very steep, winding downhill on a road trip last spring. Actually like that this feature is on my truck. That would've been one heck of riding my brakes.

I wonder if Ford used some kind of environment friendly natural products on your wires that attracts the mice? If you don't keep food anywhere inside your truck I'd say this could be an issue.

ANY winter tire will definitely help. Seeing as you get about as much snow as I get here in Hamilton ON I'd go for something inexpensive. I didn't even bother with winter tires last year and I was ok FYI.

Yes, if one is willing to roll the dice and pull over the 2,000lb max it should only be Ina real pinch or emergency methinks.

I think the FWD hybrid is capable of towing 2,500lbs of trailer safely long as the hitch weight is close to its max. Ford is just looking to cover it's arse and get out of warranty when one does it.

Dealer websites live to lie. When I was looking for mine they had ten listed as being in stock. None were. The salesman even admitted they threw them up on the website to attract more views and inquiries

One of my co-workers who has a big V8 Silverado called mine a "baby truck" to which I answered, "Yeah, but we're both hauling air 99% of the time and my hybrid gets three times the gas mileage yours does". Shut him right up. Lol
