Yep, I towed a 1,000lb tent trailer with my old Toyota Tercel. Barely noticed it except for braking had to leave lots of distance. The car itself couldn't have been more than 2,000lbs itself. Lol
That would have been great LOL but I am picking up this wkd paying $2,800 for it. Compared to Bolers/Trilliums same size usually not great condition go for several thousand more I thought I'd snag this baby!
Very insightful. I'm fairly confident my FWD hybrid can tow 1,600lbs without any issues.
Going to keep gear to the absolute essentials only. Not my first rodeo with a travel trailer and have been looking to get back into it. Won't be any stupid long trips nor any mounta
Sorry my math stunk there. Lol. The trailer is listed empty as 500kg which is only 1,100lbs not 1,200lbs. Won't...
Got a lucky score in this vintage early 70s 1100lb trailer! Even with a few hundred lbs of gear will be well under the 2,000lb towing capacity for my Maverick hybrid. Am sooo looking forward to get out camping again!
EDIT: Naturally the suggested mode is tow/haul. I'll be on relatively flat...
I had ordered a truck but found one on the lot somewhere else. The first dealer DID give me a written agreement. They bucked me a bit when I asked for my deposit back. A phone call to the owner of the dealership cleared that up quick when I told him I'd be doing my service there as it's five min...
When I luckily found my 2023 on the lot the dealer gave me $600 under MSRP. Since it was XLT with lux pkg, moonroof they could easily afford to even if they didn't have to. I was glad to get the small discount though. It paid for most of the first several months of fuel being a hybrid. ;)
Yep, and file a complaint with Ford about these idiots. My local dealer isn't even the one I bought the truck from and has been awesome getting my recalls done in the time frames I requested.
Since I got mine Aug last year I'm starting to see a few more of them here in Hamilton ON Canada. Used to go weeks even a month or two without spotting one now it's more like every week or two
Was just watching an episode of the first season of The Price Is Right and the contestant won this brand new Mercury Comet. Same car as the original Ford Maverick but with a couple extra bells and whistles.
